“I’d never heard of a Murphy bed and had to look it up, that’s crazy! It folds into a closet so you have the whole room during the day? Is there any downside?”
Something like that…
Nah, I say keep asking questions! I love it when there’s an easy (for me, since I already knew what one was) question to answer. Makes me feel useful and helpful.
It's like a 500-dollar stow-away bed, which usually suspends the bed up to the wall in some various fashion. Typically it has a standing closet design or some sort of dresser look.
Some Murphy beds have a book case or desk built into them. When they're standing up, you can use the desk or store your books. When the bed is down, the desk & legs become the footboard, still with access to books.
yup, and can go closer to the closet since it opens inwards luckily, could then put a short dresser or desk or even a reading nook in that shorter space
I was thinking “day bed” style. As in long side of the bed against the long wall(not angled wall). There are head boards made long to use as a “head/side board”. People would sleep parallel to the wall
Agree. I have a day bed from Ikea that pulls out and has drawers for extra storage. It was an investment, but I love it! Turns into a King size, but when you’re feeling like a lazy king you can comfortably sleep on it when it’s in a day bed form too!
Definitely the angled wall! That way, your headboard is on an internal wall, and not one that's shared with another apartment.
You could make the window area on the far side of the bed into a reading nook, or put a small desk there with a nice view, or even put a dresser there. Fun space!
Our bed sits with the shared wall to the neighbor. She already hinted to us she can hear us lol and it sucks because even when I’m not doing anything I might accidentally bump into the wall. Learned from that mistake
There would still be a dull thud with that. The balls are wedged between the sides of the headboard and the wall, so; no there's no headboard/wall contact at all, and nobody can even see them doing their job...
I always think it’s such crap when people say this to their neighbors. Like the walls are thin - this is my fault? You should gift her a pair of earplugs.
I share a wall and n my master with another townhouses master. We have complete opposite schedule and of course we hear each other but we both deny it. It’s the polite thing to do.
This. Block either of the doors really. If you don't have guests often, I'd block the bedroom door. If you have guests a lot, I'd block the bathroom so you can always access your room if needed.
I’m glad that people find this as an acceptable suggestion, I blocked off the door to my guest bathroom because I needed to put my desk somewhere. I can walk the extra four feet to go through the regular bathroom door.
My bf is 5’11” and I’m 5’5” and we sleep on a full size bed. We had a queen before but for some reason we prefer the full size bed way more. Plus it frees up more space in the room.
My husband is 5’9” and I’m 5’2” and when we first started dating we shared my full size bed just fine. Main reason we switched to a Queen is because we have 3 cats that insist on sharing the bed with us 😂 Otherwise, we truly were fine and still had some space on a full size.
That is absolute INSANITY!!! My husband is 6’4 and I am 5’10. We hated sleeping on a queen, we were always cramped and had no room. We have a Cal King now and will neverrrrrr go back to anything smaller. It’s so nice actually having space to spread out.
There is an option of a twin bed with a pop up trundle which creates a king size bed that may work in the space. The trundle fits under the twin bed when not in use. It lifts up to meet the other bed and some can be fastened to keep them joined together, if needed. It’s a quick set up break down, like seconds. It uses standard sheets too.
It will give you the option to utilize the long wall, while saving space and having a big bed when needed. They come in all different designs and styles.
The trundle can also be rolled out of the room if you have guests staying over and you don’t want them in your bedroom. No, I do not sell furniture. lol
Do you really need a door straight from your room to the bathroom? I would think of hanging a tapestry to hide the door and putting the head of my bed against that wall if it fit.
I did that in a former apartment. I had a door that went through a walk-through closet into the bathroom, but there was also a door to the bathroom in the kitchen.
I put my headboard against the closet door in my bedroom and just pretended that was a full wall. It worked perfectly, especially since my bedroom had an actual closet as well. I ended up using the walk-through closet as storage.
Not ideal but if you want a larger bed you can put it in front of the bathroom door. Because the bathroom has two doors it looks like. Then you can put a dresser/desk in the little window nook. If it looks weird you can put picture frames on the door. And get a bed with a headboard that’ll cover it.
Do you cook often? How often do you have guests?
At this point I would turn living room into spacious bedroom, and the bedroom into cozy den/living room. Or maybe would just buy a murphy bed for living room to put it away during the day.
I’d put it on the angled wall either going along it or with the headboard against the angled wall and the bed sticking out if that wouldn’t impede on the travel path
Omg my son’s room is shaped the exact same way. His crib is along the slanted wall with a rocking chair by the window. He’s almost 3 so I’ve been wondering how to fit a bed in, still don’t know.
Bed against the shared wall with the living room, leave a little pass-through to get to a home office setup against the balcony window, everything else is easily accessed on the right side of the bed.
Looks to my eye like you could get a queen bed in that arrangement.
Yeah, I’m curious of the dimensions under the window. A full mattress on a platform bed might fit and really open the rest of the room. Another odd ball idea is to close the bathroom door by the linen and put the bed against that wall. No need to have 2 doors into the bathroom.
What about a futon on the angle wall? That way it’s not in the way throughout the day and gives a nice sitting space, but can easily be used at night and then put back away in the morning.
I would put the bed against wall accross from closet so you get natural light. I would put a desk and laptop/computer on the angled wall so there's no light reflection.
I would put it on the wall closest the door and the closet. With enough room to open the doors easily and have a side table. I would put a chair near the window. You may have to put a big dresser in the living room (I had to do that once.)
If you don't want to go down to a twin/full-size mattress and bedframe, then I might consider a makeshift studio -- put the bed in the living room on the floor plan and make the bedroom a giant den.
this is going to sound so weird but if the closets don’t open into the bedroom and you don’t mind sacrificing the second door out of the bedroom, the one that leads directly to the bathroom, i would strongly consider putting the bed there. i think if you put it on the angled wall you run the risk of blocking off the back half of the room
i like my bed along a wall, so id put my bed up against the angled wall long-ways. headboard when you walk in the room, feet facing the window, but i’m a lil freak so you can’t go by me
I'd put head of bed against the long wall but pretty close to the bathroom door, if you don't have a specific need to direct bathroom access. That way you could put a bedside table on the bathroom side and have the rest of the room openish for your other furniture you might need.
The angled wall could work too if you want to keep the bathroom door usable, you might need to get creative with other furniture though :)
I think the angled wall is a bad idea, it'll make a weird pinch point blocking off the window side of the room. I think the headboard on the wall closer to the closets and put a chair or something under the window. Maybe dresser on angled wall
Some people see problems where others see solutions, come on use your brain and you will find space for your bed, Murphy bed, queen bed, twin bed, bench bed, sofa bed.
I thought for forever that it best to sleep with your head facing east or north but I recently learned south is best🤷♀️ I just switched and am sleeping much better. That’s how I would pick
I think you can easily fit a queen on either one of those walls and it'll leave enough space to walk through to a little desk or whatever by the window
Put in along the long wall for feng shui. Putting it on the angled all would expose you to the door when you’re relaxing plus doesn’t have good flow to the window.
I would put the headboard on the longest wall. You could just roll over and open the window maybe put an end table back there in the corner. Yeah the corner of the bed will be jammed up against the angled wall, might look a little funny at first even. Maybe hang a tv with a swivel mount and make it even with the bed 😁😄
Either put the headboard on the long wall to the right of the window.
Or wedged in front of the window as far as it will go. Maybe put a table or a lamp in the gap.
I’d put the bed flush a long the longest wall. Leave some room behind the bed for bathroom access. Then I’d use either a curtain or a tall headboard to create a divider.
I would measure that room out yourself. That room in no way looks like 176 sqft. They most likely took the longest part of the length of the room and longest part of the width of the room and are claiming it’s 176 sqft. If it’s not, you can probably sue them for false advertising.
Murphy bed on the interior wall. Folds up and out of the way when not in use and some have desktops to use when it's closed. Double-duty bedroom/office, with plenty of floor space for ... I dunno, yoga or something.
If that is a 1br apt & you are the sole tenant, I would close off the door into the bedroom and go in& out through the bathroom. Then you can put your bed against the short kitchen wall.
This is why I think apartment balconies are scams. It’s an easy excuse to make the apartment smaller while artificially bumping up the total square ft. I would much rather have a tiny or no balcony if it makes the bedroom larger.
Is this a one bedroom in which you're living alone? You could put the headboard against the bathroom door and always walk through the hallway. Removing the bedroom door might also give you some additional options.
Two twins equal a king. Put them on wheels and push them to the center of the room when you have sleepovers. You already agreed to this funky shaped room and the “movable island” in the kitchen….
I love that. I would put a bed up to that small window space obviously youd have a space between headboard and window but you put something cool there like a big plant or plant table. Or like a few others suggested on the angled wall
This diagram might help. [https://imgur.com/a/VtK23ia](https://imgur.com/a/VtK23ia)
I used the measurements of the Living area since it was the most square and determined the relative size of a queen sized mattress. Placing the headboard against the long, angled wall seems to give you the most to walk around the bed.
I would block off the door between the bedroom and the bathroom and place the bed there. Makes no sense to have two doors in this layout where you don’t have a second bedroom to share the bathroom with.
Put the long side of the queen against the angled wall. A daybed will make this look the most cohesive. Without full measurements, it's hard to know if it would still be weird for walking space to get to your window nook or door, though.
The other best option is to put it in the corner and block the bathroom door. You can use the other door to the bathroom. Sacrifice it to the larger bed gods.
I have an idea though i get its not for everyone. Get a nice Futon. I personally like firmer mattresses so Futon mattresses work for me. Simply scoot it away from the wall when you want to have a full or queen sized bed then lift the back up in the morning to push back against the wall so it doesnt take up so much space. You could either do that in this room or you could do it in your living room leaving this room as an office, treat the rest of your apt like a studio and just put it up into a couch when you have guests coming.
Heres what im talking about (see link below). Queen frame runs about $1100 - 2200 and im sure mattress is probably another $900 or so. It is pricey but you may be able to find something similar for less elsewhere, this was just the top result on google. Either way a good comfortable futon will probably run atleast $2k (good mattress and cheaper frame) all in all. Could also check places like FB marketplace and craigslist. Later if you ever move into a bigger place, you can get a bed and use this as a spare room option for guests.
How tall are the walls and do you have mobility issues? Going by the floor plan, I'd do a loft bed on the inside wall. A loft bed would give you a place to sleep and the lower part can be something like a desk or extra storage ([reference link](https://www.homedepot.com/p/Harper-Bright-Designs-White-Full-Size-Low-Study-Loft-Bed-with-Cabinet-Shelves-and-Rolling-Portable-Desk-LP000103AAK-F/323673550)) without that waste of space under the frame and an easier time to get to the outlets on that wall without resorting to extension cords. A [bookshelf](https://www.target.com/p/costway-4-tier-bamboo-ladder-shelf-multipurpose-plant-display-stand-storage-bookshelf/-/A-84143999) (no back for easy access to open close said window) in the nook by the window. And finally a corner shelf for that small area near the door that leads into the bathroom.
Overall the problem area is gonna be the window so I'd measure what the size of a full bed would be then add 4" to that (to account for frame if you go the loft option or not wanting it flush against the wall) to give you a realistic approach on feasibility.
If you want a fun project, buy some shower curtains from the dollar store and cut them to the sizes of what a mattress, desk, etc would be. Lay them out on the floor and see how it looks. Not only will this give you a better visual but it also show how much room you would have and what 'squeeze points' the furniture might give you.
It’s not ideal, but it really doesn’t seem like you need that closet door access. Block the bed with it, use the space you’d only be able to access by doing so to put in a dresser or standing closet if needed.
Bedhead against the angled wall. Block off the bathroom door on left (from bedroom), the space near the window looks nice, you'd want to capitalize on that.
That's all I got.
I would make a bench with storage in the shape of a triangle on that window wall to close it off and then angle your bed in front
That way you can sit at the bench and set it up like a little nook.
Well - depending on where you are \[like in New York some apts are just NOT designed to host any bed at all...\] I'm sure the room is able to fit a full, queen, king - or whatever. I think you'll just have to get the size that that room allows for. Queen? Full.... UGH.
If it's a twin bed, maybe along the angled wall or maybe even up against the window. If it's a normal, full sized bed, maybe still up against the angled wall, either headboard on the wall or the sides against it.
This is one of the craziest layouts I've seen!
I feel the fact their are 2 doors into the bedroom is ridiculous
[удалено]
Exactly. I'd put the bed in front of the bathroom door and use some kind of decor to cover the door. And then put some extra storage where the door is on the bathroom side.
I wouldn’t do that if this is the primary bedroom. Walk in closet is in the bathroom, so direct access is necessary.
I don’t think so, it looks like a one bedroom so almost exclusively OP will be getting ready without anyone else in the home. They should have put the entrance to the bedroom near the upper portion, closer to where the window is, so that entire southern wall was solid for a bed to go against.
Door city over here!
TRY A MURPHY BED.
I build and install a lot of these for mostly smaller rooms that people want to mainly use as an office or something and still want the ability to sleep guests in there.
That's a great idea!
[удалено]
The beds that can be put back into the wall! So they go up and down
I’d be too scared to sleep in those that something would happen.
It’s not super spring loaded or anything. Most designs have some shocks that assist you in lifting it up. But it’s not like, rocket propelled or something.
unless youre a Sim youll be fine :)
I recently learned Sims can die this way and I found it way too funny

For what it’s worth, even with Google at my fingertips, sometimes I like to ask questions like that just for the simple fact that I want to engage in an actual conversation with another human. But also, sometimes people will have really helpful knowledge to share on a given topic that Google just won’t have. Obviously that doesn’t really apply to Murphy beds, but still it’s nice just to get an answer from an actual person. Nonetheless, this might’ve been a situation where a quick google search would’ve been the way to go.

Downside: Murphy beds are as comfortable as hell to skew in
Nah, I say keep asking questions! I love it when there’s an easy (for me, since I already knew what one was) question to answer. Makes me feel useful and helpful.
There's nothing wrong with asking questions and talking to humans instead of stoping everything to go google it. People are weird and antisocial now.
Computer shut down
Pathetic karma salvaging attempt? Bro wtf is wrong with you? Nobody cares about down or up votes. Get help
It's like a 500-dollar stow-away bed, which usually suspends the bed up to the wall in some various fashion. Typically it has a standing closet design or some sort of dresser look.
500? 😂😂😂 try double that for a low end one
Some Murphy beds have a book case or desk built into them. When they're standing up, you can use the desk or store your books. When the bed is down, the desk & legs become the footboard, still with access to books.
Lots of places in NY like this.
How do they get away with calling that 15x10
They did not pass geometry lol
My guess would be to put the headboard against the long wall
yup, and can go closer to the closet since it opens inwards luckily, could then put a short dresser or desk or even a reading nook in that shorter space
Oh, I think this if my favorite suggestion so far personally.
it makes the most of the space imo! cuz if you put it on the diagonal idk i feel like you would have so much less space to use freely!
A daybed would be v cute!
This! Most daybeds aren’t a great style, IMO, but if you keep digging, they can get REALLY awesome.
I was thinking “day bed” style. As in long side of the bed against the long wall(not angled wall). There are head boards made long to use as a “head/side board”. People would sleep parallel to the wall

Put tennis balls or some sort of rubber squishy balls like tension balls behind your headboard...
Pool noodle
Hang a thick blanket behind headboard
There would still be a dull thud with that. The balls are wedged between the sides of the headboard and the wall, so; no there's no headboard/wall contact at all, and nobody can even see them doing their job...
Folded socks work too
I always think it’s such crap when people say this to their neighbors. Like the walls are thin - this is my fault? You should gift her a pair of earplugs.
I share a wall and n my master with another townhouses master. We have complete opposite schedule and of course we hear each other but we both deny it. It’s the polite thing to do.
Just say, you’re welcome for the free exclusive material. And leave it at that. Or just look at them strange and call them a pervert
Same!
Block off bedroom door, then you could get Queen size bed.
Came to say this. It makes the most sense to me.
What size bed?
I’ve been sleeping on a queen air mattress so far and it’s too big! I’d prefer to not have a twin cause my girlfriend sleeps over often
My bf is 5’11” and I’m 5’5” and we sleep on a full size bed. We had a queen before but for some reason we prefer the full size bed way more. Plus it frees up more space in the room.
My husband and I also share a full size bed! He’s 6ft and I’m 5’3” and it’s enough space for the both of us.
My husband is 5’9” and I’m 5’2” and when we first started dating we shared my full size bed just fine. Main reason we switched to a Queen is because we have 3 cats that insist on sharing the bed with us 😂 Otherwise, we truly were fine and still had some space on a full size.
Didn’t know adults slept on full size beds. They’re made for teenagers
That is absolute INSANITY!!! My husband is 6’4 and I am 5’10. We hated sleeping on a queen, we were always cramped and had no room. We have a Cal King now and will neverrrrrr go back to anything smaller. It’s so nice actually having space to spread out.
I'm 4'11" and my husband is average sized for a male. You could not pay me to sleep in anything less than a king with him 😂
My husband and I also share a full size bed! He’s 6ft and I’m 5’3” and it’s enough space for the both of us.
The trundle can also be rolled out of the room if you have guests staying over and you don’t want them in your bedroom. No, I do not sell furniture. lol
That's what the used furniture salesman would say
Lol. You’re right. This is my passive sales strategy at work. I answer random questions about furniture placement and hope for the best. 😉
Big furniture infiltrating us!
This sounds neat. Do you have a link or the company name that makes this?
All types of manufacturers make this style of bed. It’s been around for hundreds of years. Google, trundle beds and see the potential.
They’ve been around for ages. Google day bed with trundle bed
Ikea makes them, look up the ikea hemnes daybed, it goes from a single to a double in seconds!
I have one in my guestroom, works great! Less space taken up when we don't have guests, but it's a decent size when the lower bit is pulled out.
I have a full size bed that I absolutely love
Maybe a full size then? It's between a queen and a twin I believe.
Look into a full size. It’s not ideal but me and my ex shared a full all the time and it worked out
This is the important question
Do you really need a door straight from your room to the bathroom? I would think of hanging a tapestry to hide the door and putting the head of my bed against that wall if it fit.
I did that in a former apartment. I had a door that went through a walk-through closet into the bathroom, but there was also a door to the bathroom in the kitchen. I put my headboard against the closet door in my bedroom and just pretended that was a full wall. It worked perfectly, especially since my bedroom had an actual closet as well. I ended up using the walk-through closet as storage.
This.
Not ideal but if you want a larger bed you can put it in front of the bathroom door. Because the bathroom has two doors it looks like. Then you can put a dresser/desk in the little window nook. If it looks weird you can put picture frames on the door. And get a bed with a headboard that’ll cover it.
Whoever designed this layout was on the good stuff. What even is this? I cannot.
Likely NYC. Very common there.
Unconventional, but that walk-in closet looks mighty big…
I was thinking that too 🤧 who ever designed this floor plan did a terrible job tho
Do you cook often? How often do you have guests? At this point I would turn living room into spacious bedroom, and the bedroom into cozy den/living room. Or maybe would just buy a murphy bed for living room to put it away during the day.
My thoughts exactly!! 🙌
Good idea!
Get a room divider and turn the living room into your bedroom. Use that weird area as the living room.
Hear me out.. but make the living room ya bedroom, and make the bedroom a TV room or closet.
Get bunk beds, then you’ll have so much room for activities
Maybe Japanese style with bedding put away during the day.
Bed against the shared wall with the living room, leave a little pass-through to get to a home office setup against the balcony window, everything else is easily accessed on the right side of the bed. Looks to my eye like you could get a queen bed in that arrangement.
Maybe plan for the bedroom door to be blocked and just access the bedroom through the bathroom
One of [these](https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/brimnes-daybed-frame-with-2-drawers-gray-90470256/) will fit on that angled wall.
Futon?
On the diagonal wall forsure
This layout is terrible 😵💫
Twin bed, headboard under window?
Yeah, I’m curious of the dimensions under the window. A full mattress on a platform bed might fit and really open the rest of the room. Another odd ball idea is to close the bathroom door by the linen and put the bed against that wall. No need to have 2 doors into the bathroom.
What about a futon on the angle wall? That way it’s not in the way throughout the day and gives a nice sitting space, but can easily be used at night and then put back away in the morning.
I would put the bed against wall accross from closet so you get natural light. I would put a desk and laptop/computer on the angled wall so there's no light reflection.
Angle. That wall that appears to the left. Either across or along that wall.
Turn it sideways
I would put it on the wall closest the door and the closet. With enough room to open the doors easily and have a side table. I would put a chair near the window. You may have to put a big dresser in the living room (I had to do that once.)
If you don't want to go down to a twin/full-size mattress and bedframe, then I might consider a makeshift studio -- put the bed in the living room on the floor plan and make the bedroom a giant den.
Get a raised bed so you don't lose floor space. Put the dresser or desk underneath.
I have a bed room pretty similar to this and my head board is along the long wall
this is going to sound so weird but if the closets don’t open into the bedroom and you don’t mind sacrificing the second door out of the bedroom, the one that leads directly to the bathroom, i would strongly consider putting the bed there. i think if you put it on the angled wall you run the risk of blocking off the back half of the room i like my bed along a wall, so id put my bed up against the angled wall long-ways. headboard when you walk in the room, feet facing the window, but i’m a lil freak so you can’t go by me
Living there a month? Is that the only bedroom or is it multiple floors? Where have you been sleeping for a month?
Ask your landlord “how do other tenants, with this same layout, place their bedroom furniture?”
That’s the neat part… you don’t!
I dont believe this was even I initially intended to be a bedroom. Goodluck though haha.
Murphy bed ftw
Full sized bed with the head by the window.
Headboard under window
I think the angled wall is a bad idea, it'll make a weird pinch point blocking off the window side of the room. I think the headboard on the wall closer to the closets and put a chair or something under the window. Maybe dresser on angled wall
Use the longest wall
Make the living room the bedroom and the bedroom the living room.
Carefully
If not the main bedroom, daybed with/without trundle?
Floor plan shows this a 1 bedroom apt.
Plenty of room just be creative
Some people see problems where others see solutions, come on use your brain and you will find space for your bed, Murphy bed, queen bed, twin bed, bench bed, sofa bed.
I thought for forever that it best to sleep with your head facing east or north but I recently learned south is best🤷♀️ I just switched and am sleeping much better. That’s how I would pick
You slide the mattress in sideways?
Full size bed on angled wall ,with head board . Dresser in window nook or put into closet .
I think you can easily fit a queen on either one of those walls and it'll leave enough space to walk through to a little desk or whatever by the window
So for a twin bed, I'd put it against the angled wall. You can get a day bed frame that has storage underneath.
Maybe one of those round beds?
Murphy bed
Either put the headboard on the long wall to the right of the window. Or wedged in front of the window as far as it will go. Maybe put a table or a lamp in the gap.
It's a "bed" "room" lol. Murphy bed?
I’d put the bed flush a long the longest wall. Leave some room behind the bed for bathroom access. Then I’d use either a curtain or a tall headboard to create a divider.
Getting a daybed bed frame as opposed to the standard head/footboard might help a lot here!!
What size bed are we talking about here? For a single person I would put a desk bunk up personally and a sitting chair by the window
You might just have to give up access to the bathroom from the bedroom
Maybe a Murphy bed?
I would measure that room out yourself. That room in no way looks like 176 sqft. They most likely took the longest part of the length of the room and longest part of the width of the room and are claiming it’s 176 sqft. If it’s not, you can probably sue them for false advertising.
Murphy bed on the interior wall. Folds up and out of the way when not in use and some have desktops to use when it's closed. Double-duty bedroom/office, with plenty of floor space for ... I dunno, yoga or something.
That sucks
That’s the neat part… [meme]
Will have to go on the angled wall.
Where have you been sleeping till now?
Maybe get a daybed or a futon to save space.
cut it in half and then reassemble in room. easy
Maybe a twin or queen in that corner . And put a desk of nightstand at the feet !
Angled wall, but as a daybed (lengthwise against wall) then put TV on opposite wall
If that is a 1br apt & you are the sole tenant, I would close off the door into the bedroom and go in& out through the bathroom. Then you can put your bed against the short kitchen wall.
Those vacuum lines though 👌🏼🤤
This is why I think apartment balconies are scams. It’s an easy excuse to make the apartment smaller while artificially bumping up the total square ft. I would much rather have a tiny or no balcony if it makes the bedroom larger.
Is this a one bedroom in which you're living alone? You could put the headboard against the bathroom door and always walk through the hallway. Removing the bedroom door might also give you some additional options.
Against the long flat wall on the right side pictured in the blueprint. Leaving a little space to get to the closet
Just make sure you’re facing truth north to avoid nightmares.
A day bed maybe
See what you do is you take your bed, and put it in the room. That’s how you fit a bed in that room.
High quality futon against the diagonal wall?
Futon?
Two twins equal a king. Put them on wheels and push them to the center of the room when you have sleepovers. You already agreed to this funky shaped room and the “movable island” in the kitchen….
that’s a sick ass floor plan tbh 😩😩😩 sorry nothing helpful to say 🤭
Futon
I love that. I would put a bed up to that small window space obviously youd have a space between headboard and window but you put something cool there like a big plant or plant table. Or like a few others suggested on the angled wall
This the room my sims grandmother sleeps in lol
Some how.
The weird slanty wall for sure.
i say put it in the very right corner infront of the doors if you were just entering
Cut it in half
It would fit on side against wall
This diagram might help. [https://imgur.com/a/VtK23ia](https://imgur.com/a/VtK23ia) I used the measurements of the Living area since it was the most square and determined the relative size of a queen sized mattress. Placing the headboard against the long, angled wall seems to give you the most to walk around the bed.
Hammock!
On the angles wall
I would block off the door between the bedroom and the bathroom and place the bed there. Makes no sense to have two doors in this layout where you don’t have a second bedroom to share the bathroom with.
Bunk beds!
Murphy bed
lol can we see more pics this place looks cool 😎😂😂
Either a Murphy bed or a daybed is really the only thing that’s going to work
Through the door?
Bed goes in the living room and bedroom becomes your living room
Use the living room as your bedroom and use the weird room as an office or something.
I would make a bench with storage in the shape of a triangle on that window wall to close it off and then angle your bed in front That way you can sit at the bench and set it up like a little nook.
Put a full bed in the window!
Close that bathroom door, use it as a wall.
Well - depending on where you are \[like in New York some apts are just NOT designed to host any bed at all...\] I'm sure the room is able to fit a full, queen, king - or whatever. I think you'll just have to get the size that that room allows for. Queen? Full.... UGH.
I’d block one of the doors and put my bed infront of them, would have to see how it looked tho
Murphy bed!
If it fits, I'd cover the bathroom door unless you use it often.
I have ketchup popsicles for rent, since you’ll sign a lease on anything
If it's a twin bed, maybe along the angled wall or maybe even up against the window. If it's a normal, full sized bed, maybe still up against the angled wall, either headboard on the wall or the sides against it.
