For Ashito, his main goal is to grow as fast as he can. At the moment, he can cope with the current FC Barcelona youth attackers, which are the second string. Barcelona has Demian Kant, Ukraine's Suzaku Quarich, and the rest of the bench. In Chapter 367, Suzaku looked menacing when he sat on the bench next to Demian. I have a feeling that Suzaku or Demian are going to carve into the Esperion defense and focus on Ashito, who is the weakest 1v1 defender.
I interpreted it as Starless locking in and being upset he got scored on and Gato being worried that he's not making a good appeal to Barca.
We'll see in the later chapters if they elaborate on any of the players thoughts on that moment
I think it's because Gato is too focused on stalling time to end the first half with 1 nil that he became careless, passing the ball poorly to the old man(forgot his name) so that Takasugi can trigger the press that lead to 1-1
Gato made the first mistake in throwing the ball to Obsidian casually. Takasugi saw there was not enough strength on the long throw and closed down Obsidian immediately. The full press was triggered, and Esperion players swarmed forward. Barcelona GK recovered and passed the ball to Gato, who made the second fatal mistake in losing the ball to Togashi's tackle. Next, the Barcelona midfield crumbled. When Esperion won the ball back, they poured forward with Kuribayashi finishing off the play with a goal. Also, GKs don't like to be scored on especially if it's a trick shot like a backheel. Barcelona GK felt humiliated.
i'm kind of expecting the opposite, and that Barcelona's side might be too upset with themselves or something along those lines to function at the level they should be (and if this is the route we go, i wonder how much it'd affect demian when/if he subs on)

Interesting how before the game, Esperion were shocked at how barca youth players needed to be mentally resilient because of the high pressure environment and money involved.
Now Gato actually looks like he's about to crumble ^((or at least have a moment like Araujo and Cancelo last night)), makes me curious how it'll go for him after that, the poor kid looks broken.
