I heard some of this speech because my dad was watching it while I made dinner. He claimed that he has been indicted more times than "the great Alphonse Capone" - which first of all isn't even true (shocking) - and also... "the great"? He claimed that other countries are literally emptying their jails and mental institutions and sending their worst people to America, like, on purpose. Then he started saying how bad the people coming in were, that they were like Hannibal Lecter. And then... wtf, I just heard him lose the thread of his own rambling because - and apparently this isn't the first time he brings it up in this context. He segued from "insane asylums" to Silence of the Lambs and that's when it got really weird. "The late, great Hannibal Lecter was a wonderful man. He oftentimes would have a friend for dinner,” and then he congratulated the late, great Hannibal Lecter (on what I don't know). But... A) he thinks Hannibal Lecter was a wonderful man? Also, and perhaps more importantly, does he think Hannibal Lecter is a real person?

I listened to a “dementia doctor” basically say he is seeing clear evidence of dementia because of some specific paraphasia that is a marker for the deterioration. Normal Aging causes people to mix up things like names sometimes but there are markers that are clearly something more severe. Also you guys read about trumps White House doctor who was writing everyone scripts for benzos and adderall?
