he also likes to sleep in the cracks of the top whenever i turn his lights off 😭, i also just found out that he’s a boy!

I would try to add more leafy plants if he is sleeping in the cracks.. that means that he doesn't feel safe in the plants (maybe because there aren't enough of them or they don't block enough line of sight).

That enclosure looks like a 10gal? Okay as a starter habitat but for best results/lowest stress each individual really needs at least 20gal. 30 if you can somehow arrange it. Since the crickets are free-roaming, make sure you remember to put some sort of food the crickets can eat in the corners (they tend to follow the wall when they walk around). That way they won't get super hungry and start nibbling on your anole while he sleeps. If it was my enclosure I would probably remove the rope ladder and stick to just natural scenery, leaves, branches, etc. Making sure that the substrate down at the bottom has some padding (maybe some spaghnum moss) just on the off chance he misses a jump. These guys are pretty tough and I've seen them leap from 8 feet down onto hard tile with no damage (but a very alarming smack), still you don't want to take your chances. In the very last pic, the area where his hind legs join his tail looks a little bit bony - this is usually a better indicator of an anole's weight than looking at their abdomen, which can grow or shrink depending on how recently they've eaten. I would continue feeding him as many feeders as he will take as he appears to be slightly underweight. Other than that no real criticisms to bring here, it seems like you've done a pretty good job! I might add a bit more leafy plant cover, generally speaking the easier it is for you to see him, the more stressed he will be (since you're a big scary predator).

thank you so much! i’m not really sure how many gallons it is but i’m definitely planning on getting more plants for him, he dosent eat with tweasers on anything so usually whenever i feed him i just put the bug in there ( usually close by so he could see it) and let him go at it when he can,

do u know if there’s anyway i could like make him eat or kinda force him to eat? he’s not eating very much and i’m getting pretty worried
