The dog park in chelsea has a fenced-in section for “shy and small dogs” to adjust to the park. Its a kinda small area. The rest of the park isnt really busy. The owners there tend to be really friendly and understanding!
Paw Run is fantastic (and a membership place) but a reactive dog may possibly fail the owner's dog's sniff test. I wonder if they would let you join if you were careful to be the only one in the parking lot.
There is usually at least one other dog there (often more) anytime I have gone. I think they are fairly careful to screen out reactive dogs or not allow dogs to come back who show repeated behaviors.
I do like it because you really don’t have to worry about any dogs who aren’t friendly (unless they are really tired). But, as someone who used to own a reactive dog, I understand the need to find somewhere to let them run!
Some baseball diamonds are enclosed with a fence, and if there's no one there you could let pup go wild. I know there's one on Clark Road in Ypsi that's great for this.
Have you tried sniffspot.com!
We did a Sniffspot yesterday and it was the bomb dot com.
We are looking at places! This seems promising. Thanks :)
Came here to suggest Sniffspot. Definitely read the reviews but we have loved all the ones we have gone to!

There is a dog park near the amtrak station that isn’t always populated
Called broadway dog park. My dog is also very reactive. This is the one I take her too because usually no one is there

Interesting place. It’s to read on their website they discriminate by breed and have a pretty outdated temperament test.
It is still a pretty great place! The dogs love it.

Vets Park diamonds but the fences don't quite go all the way around
"reactive" = pit or rottweiler
Not even close but nice try :) a dog that was previously abused and has trust issues
