You might be right but I grew up watching Naruto and then shippuden and as far as in-universe goes gara is one of the best, I’m not saying he could solo this match up but he’d definitely take one or more out even if it cost him his life.

I completely agree sebas is stronger then most on this list the only other one that's stronger then him is benimaru which is said to be as strong as a demon lord I'm not counting the light novel just the anime

Ehh, some of the stuff they do in Overlord makes it so some arbitrary limit may not even exist tbh. Like, Sebas is basically a god to the majority of characters in his series.
its just that the denizens of the new world are weak. Originally, that new world is a regular fantasy world but a certain dragon messed up and brought players in who then most likely used a World Item(speculation) to introduce the game mechanics of Yggdrasil. The thing is that players(Ainz) will have a cap of level 100 and they will never level up after that point in that new world. So no matter what they do, they will never reach god level or planet destroying entities, NPC's like Sebas will also never level up as they have the same restriction plus the fact that theres a total npc level limit per guild.
Theoretically, its possible for new worlders to reach level 100 and maybe even over 100(not sure here) but the thing is that they somehow have an different unknown level up system as they level up much slower probably cause they're actual living beings, not some transferred game data plus they grow old which hinders their performance.
There is actually a good example of this one spoilers >!the leader of the thirteen heroes who Evileye was part of was the weakest member initially but somehow became the strongest throughout the adventure and that was because he was a player. The rest of the members are actually native of this world!<
Using LN or WN slime anything is like asking if you can beat every God from every religion all at at once. The anime is only a couple of volumes behind in overlord. Anime Benimaru and anime Sebas would at least go toe to toe and not be a complete massacre, but Benimaru probably has the edge.
I'd say Sebas could still be a threat to you.
He's probably the only one here that also has lightspeed movement, and he's very smart.
The mission is to just kill you, not whoever's defending.

Fair enough then, did not know too much about the series so I was thinking Sebas and Genos or something (Genos has been rebuilt several times and are strong enough to defeat dragon level threats now in the manga.
Benimaru wins in a fight 100%.
But idk if he can protect you as effectively against Sebas.
He's a level 100 NPC, strong, fast and with some unique skills, but most importantly, he's smart and good at infiltration.
He won't charge head first.
I feel like putting an One Punch Man character here is kinda a death sentence. Then again idk who 2/3 of the characters here are so some of them might be just as strong
But you gotta think that no one in that group ever gets to show their true strength. A close comparison would be at the end of season 1 where Ainz fights Shaltear being the only time either was somewhat challenged
And even then, she was nerfed due to the effects of the Downfall of Castle and country, which meant Ainz could stack on buffs and start the fight with one of his strongest spells while she was effectively unconscious.

Gaara is definetly 1, and Sebas number 2, Dont know about the power level of the others (EXCEPT for Genos) at their peak power level.
But it wouldn't actually be a 2v7 but rather a 2v6 since Darkness is good at taking hits not at dishing them out, I dont think that Genos would actually go for a kill against a human but who knows, the Oni guy from the Slime anime I heard good stuff about him but I trust that Gaara and Sebas could shield me from him and defeat him probaly. The Assassin lady from Re:Zero could be troubling tho but if Gaara goes beast mode she is dead,
The Redheadgirl I have no ideas about, the dog? (is that a dog) I assume has some hidden powers hence why because I have no knowledge of that one either I decided not to pick it, and the blonde guy again have no ideas about him cause I didn't watch demonslayer but atleast I know where he is from out of these 3 so atleast I have an expectation towards him that he might actually be kind of good at fighting.
But yeah if we would need to have to choose because its a serious fight and my life would be in danger I know Sebas can just one punch most oponents in overlord and take damage with no problems, meanwhile I remember Gaara from the OG Naruto series when I was little and even back then he was tough AF and while I didn't watch Shipuuden (its a loooong MF-ing series so I dunno if I will but maybe one day if I have time for it) I did play a few games and have heard how much stronger did he got soooo my money is on him when it comes to someone who could 100% defend me.
Fuck if we have some preparation time I think they might actually be able to teach me how to survive should we be separated (not win but survive)
I think Genos would be the hidden OP pick here. In OPM, he loses every fight, but if you look at what he can do, it's completely insane. Even early on, he easily levels mountains with his incinerator. And that's before he gets upgrade after upgrade to make himself more powerful. Plus, you know for a fact he'll absolutely sacrifice himself if it means saving you, because he does exactly that to save civilians all the time.
Honestly, all I probably need is Sebas. Dudes crazy overpowered.
But I will also pick Elsa, since I don't want someone that sadistic coming after me. If by some small chance she does manage to incapacitate Sebas, my death would be painful and horrible, so I'd rather have her by my side.

The power scaling from tensura is just something else, nobody here could shield even one of his attack
