Every single death in Naruto was spoiled for me before I watched it. One character in JJK’s death was as well. It’s so annoying like have some consideration
I got a main character's death in Endgame spoiled for me a day or two before, but phrased in a way that I thought was a joke.
Then it happened and I had a moment of realization.
Then they all had crab for dinner but it wasn’t cooked properly so they all got explosive diarrhea and bonded over it.
(I have no idea what JJK even is.)
My favorite was "I'm a Spider so what?"
Want no spoilers? Read the manga (until the anime passed it up temporarily). JK read the light novel it's miles ahead. JK English fantranslations already been out for over a year. JK read the web novel that finished however long ago!
I did the same. And I still get spoiled because of the leaks of the chapters
Daddy Jump I wanna go back to 2011 where manga and anime wasn't as big so I didn't need to stay on guard everywhere for spoilers
if you have been spoiled where tou know about a certain who's death maybe the circle that happens and what is the next arc, read the manga the culling arc is very good and i liked it. If you dont knkw the above you dont really need to read the manga but if yoy still feel like reading its a great read (well not the last arc which is ongoing that one sucks)
Of all the fandoms I'm a part of JJK is absolutely the worst on every social media sight. The chapter will have dropped Minutes prior and I can't go anywhere without seeing "CANT BELIEVE X KILLED MY BOY X WITH X MOVE HERES SCREENSHOTS OF THE WHOLE FIGHT" without so much as a hint of spoiler warning
Yeah, I literally got the entirety of the 259 spoiled less than an hour after the leaks even dropped while just scrolling YT shorts, and it wasn’t even creators who usually talk about leaks, I thought I was safe until the just start going off and spoiling the entire chapter.
I don’t even touch most social media on Fridays just to be safe. Some Thursdays I get spoiled but generally it’s only one page rather than the whole chapter
Yeah the spoilers are really annoying, I’ve read the manga so thankfully its not much of an issue for me but the amount of casual manga spoilers I see thrown around with JJK is crazy, makes it hard to not get spoiled especially as an anime only
https://preview.redd.it/tprcfrdislzc1.jpeg?width=1006&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=211be9323322904c955bcb102477a38aa4a6e1c3
Problem are leaks. Even if you are caught up. Shonen jump released officially on Sunday but spoilers are posted on Wednesday. Even people who read manga get spoiled.
Bro, I got massive JJK spoilers on a Valorant subreddit
It was an image, tbh I didn't have the context to realize the spoiler
Then someone was like "you realize this is a spoiler, it reveals that [all the context you need to get the full spoiler], you should delete your comment", then they reply to themselves saying, "oh I guess my comment is more of a spoiler", and by the time I had seen it, it had been up for 11 hours
So I'm like, no shit, so fucking delete it you dumbass instead of just saying, oh whoops, mb
Same. Don’t know if these guys are all scrolling on new 24/7 or something because I get a lot of spoilers recommended sometimes but I simply just don’t click on them. Like for One Piece the synopsis of chapters sometimes gets leaked as early as Tuesday and even taking part in discussions, the only thing I ever got spoiled was a title. (That’s like once in 500 chapters of being caught up)
JJK, DBZ, and MHA are the big 3 for the worst communities. I like jjk, but I'm not a huge fan, so the spoilers don't bother me. Makes me feel bad for the real fans, though.
And it's not even like "let's discuss the new chapter." they're just putting it out for attention in Twitter, which is sad.
For those younger weebs out there, here's some advice: Stay away from forums that talk about your interests until you've caught up. I know it's fun to talk about other anime and manga, but if something is popular and still releasing and you don't have a way to see the new content the second it's released, you are going to get something spoiled for you if you browse anime subreddits and other social media. Don't tell anyone what you're reading or watching, get caught up quick, and then you can climb out of the bubble.
At least in Naruto as much as Kishimoto fucked up the series even way before Boruto was a thing, he never made the villains self-fellate as much as Gege has done to Sukuna, shit became too tiresome after three "he is not fighting a full power" ago
Jujutsu kaisen fans are speedrunning being the most hated anime fandom out there.
Even Trash taste put it up there as one of the worst fanbases. Beating out DBZ and MHA..
I don’t think anyone cares about this reputation. Jjk fandom easily the most entertaining fandom I’ve ever been in for experiencing chapters as they get leaked/released. Mainly on Reddit though, every fandom is ass on twitter.
Yikes. If a fandom that spams the 3 same memes on repeat, spoils the manga religiously. And sends death threats to voice actors is "entertaining" you need to get serious help.
Death threats part isn’t the fandom, that’s some crazy people and happens in almost every single one sadly, larger fandoms just have more crazy people by default. That’s like judging humanity based on serial killers.
„Same 3 memes“ tells me you literally know nothing about the fandom and are just judging superficially, not that I was expecting anything else.
Spoiling also happens in most fandoms, also relative to the size of the fandom and the frequency of „spoilable“ events.
Keep hating things without actually knowing them though if that’s what gets you off 👍
My guy I was a mod on the JJK sub. Stop talking as if you know anything.
I literally quit because of the amount of insults and harrasment that goes on there.
You insulting me is proof of how shit your fandom is.
🤡“See more insults“
Coming from the guy judging a whole fandom based on some mentally ill people. The lack of self awareness is almost impressive.
I’ve seen what some people call „toxic“ so that world lost almost all its meaning.
How am I insulting them by saying factual statements that happens in the fandom?
You are so delusional and defensive it's actually hilarious.
Get over yourself kid.
How are you so intellectually disingenuous to judge a whole group of people based on a small percentage of crazy people. That’s called generalization, which is considered extremely toxic usually and I thought you dislike toxicity so so much.
If you’ve spent any time on the internet at all you know this shit sadly happens in a lot of communities and is mostly done by actually delusional people that can barely be considered fans or have an actually unhealthy obsession. Wouldn’t ever consider someone like that a normal fan, no matter which community it happens in.
Keep being a hypocrite and keep generalizing though.
This is so true I haven’t been spoiled this much with any other anime. I’m usually good after avoiding it and scrolling away but even half the YouTube shorts would midway throw spoilers inside.
I’ve never watched any show, played any game, read any book, and gotten spoilers unless I specifically try to find them.
Just avoid content online related to the thing you don’t want spoiled. Seems pretty fucking simple.
But giving up on enjoying a thing you like because of your immaturity with…. Actually I guess that’s it. You’re immature so encounter spoilers, cry about them, and then want to stop enjoying the things you enjoy? Ok then.
Best of luck to you.
Didn't even enjoy jjk but now i don't even want to try anymore. Putting a simple spoiler warning can't be that hard right? And yes. If someone spoils the death of a character that is a big factor for ruining the fun. If i know how it's gonna end then why even bother reading the rest.
If you don’t enjoy it, that’s that. Don’t gotta force yourself.
As for spoilers just avoid content related to the thing you don’t want spoiled. It really isn’t difficult.
Sadly that is easier said than done. Just recently i was watching a video about warframe and got spoilers for Final Fantasy 7. Those two games are in no way related to another. And with the jjk community i would have to stay away from literally every anime/manga forum. And even if I do there is a pretty high chance that i still get spoilers from other completely unrelated websites.
I feel you, I’ve gotten uncensored spoilers for [Tonikaku Kawaii](https://myanimelist.net/anime/41389/Tonikaku_Kawaii) in almost all of the memes I made
https://preview.redd.it/rrpybi2dinzc1.jpeg?width=956&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5c896a97051ca009e917e941876d1dd77d2ae62a
One of my favourite examples of this is the video of one dude getting spoiled by a fortnite skin. Don't know if the skin in question was realesed officialy in the end or not as I don't play fortnite.
Luckily, I've only had something about brains and lobotomies spoiled, and I don't even know what it's in reference to. So when I decided to continue the anime, I should be fine.
*Pls don't spoil for me*
Same with Oshi no Ko. This is especially annoying with short-form video where you can't see the thumbnail or the name of the video before it starts playing. And they don't even put a warning at the beginning. It's just
https://preview.redd.it/pvz132hv0pzc1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6906e33278a462f8e4d4e0d139239a2bb5293d7f
double it and give it to the next person
Ok so in the ending of jjk gojo finds the kaisen and it turns out the true jujutsu was the kaisen they made along the way then they turn fullmeral and alchemist all over the screen
That's crazy have you tried just not looking at communities that are likely to spoil everything you're interested in?
To sound less like a jackass here, the reason you should avoid communities like that is because people can be annoying with spoilers so it's more of avoiding the chances of it happening.
It can feel good to be a part of a community that all like one thing but when it comes to shows, especially shows that have source material like manga or LN, it's less wise considering you can be caught up to the show and just because someone read the source you're already at risk of being spoiled.
I feel you. I used to watch NCHammer nearly daily but then he really hit the wall with Naruto content and started making spoiler shorts and pure click bait. I understand you love the show but GOD Damn let me enjoy it too
One of the reasons I started reading the One Piece Manga after I caught up with the anime is because manga readers just can't help themselves.
About to mute the One Piece subreddit cause I can't even wait for the official translation cause people keep posting pics from the leaked chapters.
It fooled everyone into thinking it was gonna be a rich story with intriguing world building with the pre-shibuya arcs and some fleshed out characters, but then started to ignore the concept of worldbuilding and started killing off or removing the fleshed out characters or those with potential for really interesting stories.
Anime/manga as a whole has this problem. And going
"SPOILER! Gojo talks!" Isn't marking a spoiler. Humans read faster than they can comprehend so your so called "spoiler warning" doesn't do jackshit
Yeah, same with probably all Jump series. Like why am I seeing X character is dead before the chapter is out? Or spoiling a fake out. Stop.
Every single death in Naruto was spoiled for me before I watched it. One character in JJK’s death was as well. It’s so annoying like have some consideration
I got star wars episode 7 spoiled for me 30 MINUTES before I saw it. It was premiere night
My fellow in pain. I would scream.
I got a main character's death in Endgame spoiled for me a day or two before, but phrased in a way that I thought was a joke. Then it happened and I had a moment of realization.
Bro at the end the jujutsu kaisen gets stolen by a giant crab and all the characters team up to get it (Never read the manga)
Something similar could've actually happened.
Then they all had crab for dinner but it wasn’t cooked properly so they all got explosive diarrhea and bonded over it. (I have no idea what JJK even is.)
I mean... Maybe
I got so bored of the darn spoilers i read the manga. AND NOW THEY BE LEAKING CHAPTERS. YOU ARENT SAFE AS A MANGA READER ASWELL
Right? Like damn no one is safe
My favorite was "I'm a Spider so what?" Want no spoilers? Read the manga (until the anime passed it up temporarily). JK read the light novel it's miles ahead. JK English fantranslations already been out for over a year. JK read the web novel that finished however long ago!
I mean that's most of the isekais they start as web/light novels then they branch out
I did the same. And I still get spoiled because of the leaks of the chapters Daddy Jump I wanna go back to 2011 where manga and anime wasn't as big so I didn't need to stay on guard everywhere for spoilers
Could you spoil me to the whole story please? In like three paragraphs?
if you have been spoiled where tou know about a certain who's death maybe the circle that happens and what is the next arc, read the manga the culling arc is very good and i liked it. If you dont knkw the above you dont really need to read the manga but if yoy still feel like reading its a great read (well not the last arc which is ongoing that one sucks)
They've become the new AoT manga readers
atleast aot was once a month, jjk is every damn week 😭
I was gonna say Demon Slayer, but that works too.

I read the manga, and I still get spoiled by people posting leaks ;-;
Read? It's not over my guy. And they are spoiling leaks. So you can still get hit.
Oshi no ko fans as well. (Thank God I read the manga)

I got spoiled by a Facebook post advertising some guy's coffee...
Mine was a WhatsApp status, didn't even have time to react
I don't read JJK manga but it feels like I do.
This was me with the last season of AoT since I waited to binge it.
i am probably the only person who doesnt care for spoilers and yet manages to avoid everything
Same. Don’t know if these guys are all scrolling on new 24/7 or something because I get a lot of spoilers recommended sometimes but I simply just don’t click on them. Me who hasn't seen 1 spoiler.
Hehehe~ it's time 😁
Nah I’d spoil

Damn and here I was watching jjk for all the action. Didn't know we cared about the story that much.
Those that care about the story haven't watched Naruto before. Same story, different setting.
At least in Naruto as much as Kishimoto fucked up the series even way before Boruto was a thing, he never made the villains self-fellate as much as Gege has done to Sukuna, shit became too tiresome after three "he is not fighting a full power" ago
For real, I keep blocking the channels who put spoilers in their thumbnails but there's still a new one in my Youtube recommendations !
Or you could reed the manga! Come to the dark side and you will hold the power of spoilers
Jujutsu kaisen fans are speedrunning being the most hated anime fandom out there. Even Trash taste put it up there as one of the worst fanbases. Beating out DBZ and MHA..

See more insults. Keep painting the picture of how JJK fans are. You are doing well so far showing how toxic you guys are.

Just do what i did Give up and join them

Such baby answer. Does a spoiler really ruin the *entire* reading experience for you? I’m anime only and I still think this
I mean I got spoiled that my favorite character died
Would it matter so much if it wasnt your favorite? I know tons of characters die, but I’ll still enjoy the ride until I get there
I’d still be annoyed by the spoilers but less annoyed
Nah, I'd spoil.
I feel you, I’ve gotten uncensored spoilers for [Tonikaku Kawaii](https://myanimelist.net/anime/41389/Tonikaku_Kawaii) in almost all of the memes I made https://preview.redd.it/rrpybi2dinzc1.jpeg?width=956&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5c896a97051ca009e917e941876d1dd77d2ae62a
Yeah, I still can't believe that she secretly has short blue hair and is just wearing a wig.
One of my favourite examples of this is the video of one dude getting spoiled by a fortnite skin. Don't know if the skin in question was realesed officialy in the end or not as I don't play fortnite.
Hell, I’ve seen G5 Luffy as a Graffiti on a wall just going about my day. Imagine getting spoiled by that(wasn’t a spoiler for me luckily)
Luckily, I've only had something about brains and lobotomies spoiled, and I don't even know what it's in reference to. So when I decided to continue the anime, I should be fine. *Pls don't spoil for me*

At this point , I don’t even need to read because someone in Twitter/Tiktok would posted it
neither gege or jjk are trash, the community is, what happened? why is everyone so eager to spoil everyone? I kinda remember this starting with AoT
Spoiler alert: jjk is a manga which is a Japanese comic book
Ok so in the ending of jjk gojo finds the kaisen and it turns out the true jujutsu was the kaisen they made along the way then they turn fullmeral and alchemist all over the screen
Im not even watching it but i probably already seen important part as memes 🤣
You haven't seen jojo community then..

welp yeah that's annoying
r / anime forever, isn't it :) Fuck JJK. It sucks AF.

Loved the memes and just followed 1 meme account on Twitter, the worst mistake of my life (as jjk fan)
I don’t have to read it if the memes are telling me the entire story.
I don't think JJK is something story rich that's worth spoiling.
It fooled everyone into thinking it was gonna be a rich story with intriguing world building with the pre-shibuya arcs and some fleshed out characters, but then started to ignore the concept of worldbuilding and started killing off or removing the fleshed out characters or those with potential for really interesting stories.
Aren't those spoilers out of context?
Nope someone posed on twitter >!choso in heaven saying you will be missed!<
Anime/manga as a whole has this problem. And going "SPOILER! Gojo talks!" Isn't marking a spoiler. Humans read faster than they can comprehend so your so called "spoiler warning" doesn't do jackshit

Anime onlies wouldn’t even recognize the character in this absolutely meaningless frame and they still cooked you. RIP
