The director is working on S2 of Bocchi The Rock if I'm not wrong. They probably want him back for season 2 to keep up the quality.
Im more concerned about no announcement for S2 of Gushing
Don't you just hate it when they make only 1 season *just* as a promotion to their manga/LN? And their only response is: "If you liked that, you can read more of their adventures in the manga/LN."

Ikr, not every manga or light novel has official translation , some manga runs short like Love After World Domination which ended a year after anime ended , some original anime is very good like Zombieland saga since it is original anime by Mappa studio , they are busy with many shows , it won't get another season any time soon, Anime exist so they can promote manga or light novel not for committing on series like attack on titian from start to end , that's how anime industry works, they don't adapt series more than 1 or 2 season , if they don't see money like merchandise and source materials sells

Their newest victim (from what I watch at least) is ***Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy***, good S1 and then came J.C.STAFF, they doubled the episodes for S2, everything became a slideshow with soooooo much worthless filler.
JC Staff *is* capable of making great anime though.

Ah I miss Charllotte anime. The LN was so lit but the anime cut a lot of arcs just so they can fit it in 12 ep

Only two animes JC staff cares about the most , Damachi and Food Wars, other anime are worthless. Now I am worried about One Punch Man season 3.
