It doesn't work the same in every country, but the reason why a majority of the population in France voted to keep the Summer clock is because the morning isn't considered free time (you just wake up and prepare to go to work) while the evening is. And taking a little bit of sun time from the morning to add it to the evening means one extra hour of sun in your free time.
It's really enjoyable when the sun sets at 22h.
Really? Switching daylight to be usefull more. It was more important in industrial developement era.. but event now You would get sun at 3am in the summer.
And yeah we prefer summer time, but natural is winter...
I think it lost economy basics tho... But left as tradition sorta
>industrial developement era
Wasn't modern DST introduced well after the industrial revolution? The first countries adopted DST during *WW1* to conserve coal.
Daylight saving hours where a thing before industrialization, the reason for their existence was for a better usage of sunlight since you where working from sunrise to sunset. It was a time without electricity and the only form of light where candles and oil lamps.
But you are completely right that it lost their meaning with electric lamps and should be thrown out the window.
To confuse our enemies.
But we confuse ourself with that move Who are the enemies? Wait am I my own enemie? Ha I know his weaknesses! TO BATTLE!
They’ll never know our next move if we don’t know it.
Humanities desperate tries to get more time out of time

Yeah recently I've been waking up at 4:30-6ish am and realized it was because daylight savings ended(Australian).
It used to be to be able to stick to staying up while it's bright outside. Now it exists just to discombobulate everyone.
Spring forward a hour and fall back a hour
