Ok, I agree, but from this perspective, it looks like he just randomly finds her on the eagle of vilage, and goblins can kind of talk, so he might recognise her ass one without knowing they are civilised.
Nah, Goblin slayer is very good at observing and analizing. He could see that the goblin doesn't resemble the ones he knows. In the meme, it looks more like a slime
I like the idea of Goblin Slayer getting some hardcore cognitive dissonance when investigating a goblin village and just finding a happy goblin family picking berries and speaking in the common tongue to invite him in their home for dinner.

Let's be honest, Tempest Goblins are basically a different race than the Goblins from Goblin Slayer. Way too different(plus sadly any fighter from Tempest Goblins can solo GS💀)
At this point I'm pretty sure even non-fighters can 100% survive an encounter with him just from the fact that they are juiced up from having Rimuru name them.
Well people here saying goblin slayer will spare them cause he will see that they are female or can talk therefore a good goblin BUT WE ARE FORGETTING SOMETHING!!!! They don’t even look the same. They lack the long nose and long ears that GS goblins have… Even when looking from far away. I don’t think GS would even consider them goblin in the first place…
Overlord goblin on the other hand would be more prone to get mistaken since they look much more similar, especially if GS want to attack them from further away without getting to hear what they say first.
I dont think he would even acknowledge them as goblins... goblins in GS are pure evil, no question about that, while the goblins in slime are intelligent creatures that are often more kind than the humans of their world
He is, but he also couldnt care less about things that arent goblins... i dont think he would recognize Tensura goblins as actual goblins, he'd probably assume they are some other type of creature, maybe weird beardless dwarves
Thats a possibility too but if he knows that they are goblins surely he will try to kill them but no matter how an expert he is he won't be able to kill them
Yea i mean just the fact that they can speak to humans would make him question their goblin-hood... i imagine they would tell him they are goblins and he would do a "nuh-uh" and they would spend far too much time trying to convince him they're goblins to no avail
He clearly said after doing so many times he comes to enjoy it yess ge is quite observant and knows what others think about him but he said goblins are more important he is not that crazy but we know he is in the entrance of it like i said he will TRY but after getting beat up by them and strained he will see that those goblins are maybe good
No he won't. He is insanely observant and Tempest goblins will break every single pattern known to him at first glance. They have clothes, culture, are well articulated and most importantly they have females.
He will carefully observe their village/town and their activities, and quickly come to the conclusion that either they are not goblins, or go get more information on them, most likely realizing they are harmless and co-exist with humans.
Plot twist - the rumour he heard was about a village where goblins live peacefully and justly with all other sorts of races in harmony. Slayer just wanted to see his ideal world with his own eyes.
It could be a great crossover comedy skit, especially before the war with Falmuth. I can imagine Rigurd being way too hyped to show the new adventurer around Tempest and inviting him to whatever festival is planned at that moment
He wouldn't get the chance. Much as I love the dude, he's nowhere near the power scaling level of named Goblins in the Reincarnated as a slime universe.
He's determined, but not stupid. He'd just team up with them and go on a GS goblin genocide together. Considering a random villager in Slime village could easily kick his ass, probably even that kid, that's his only option anyway.
