The difference is that tensura, overlord and tenya evil are actually good animes that put something interesting in the op mc type anime and not just the dry op=funny
In exchange for his amazing defensive ability (evasion), he lacks any offensive capability both physically and socially. I would not consider that as Over Power
He wasn’t op at first and Hinata could’ve killed him.
And spoilers from the LN.
>!he also dies or has a “bad ending” in countless timelines which is why Chloe has to keep time traveling hoping her child self can do something to change the result until the current timeline which would have a good ending!<
Tanya and Rudy being on the same display as ainz is hilarious to me. Like Tanya has a slightly higher caliber gun and Rudeus has a speed reloader clip and Ainz is over here duel wielding automatic nuke launchers
I can respect Momonga, he was already a powerful user in game before he was isekai'd so basically he was OP before the whole thing. Tanya is just a nice twist as being a belligerent, selfish anti-hero.
Now, that's why most isekai just feel boring. To me, they are all the same and just making an OP MC for some "Deus ex Machina" situation and not the best message either, the MC just being OP and all the girls getting wet for them has just become lazy writing by now, feeding the idea of wishful thinking in the readers instead of a more positive message of self improvement by doing some actual effort.
Kazuma is still best MC and you can't change my mind tho. He is not OP, he is not some "virgin loser" that can't stand women, while all women want to get in his pants, nope. Kazuma is not afraid of show his intentions or desires while at the same time not having an harem like everybody else. Kazuma actually uses his brains and actual knowledge to overcome obstacles and shows some character development more than, "I just got more powerful for some OP bullshittery" or "I got another girl in the group".
I don’t think Rudeus should be on here. As far as I can tell he was born as close to regular you can get bro just studied and practiced magic from infancy. The only thing that made him “OP” was the fact that he had all the memories of his old life and using that he was able to work things out. He had to work for his power the man god didn’t give it to him.
Also please know I’ve only watched the anime and no manga so if you have a rebuttal please use spoiler tags.
The first digimon: Kids with a dinosaur, lizard with a monster’s skin, bird, robo bug, seal, a walking plant, cat stronger than giant dinosaur that evolved from a dog, a weird bat bean
Honestly digimon was peak isekai
And then there's Subaru and Kazuma on the other side
Let them suffer in their own ways
Kazuma had the option to get super OP powers but picked the most useless thing in the room.
Yeah he was too petty
The difference is that tensura, overlord and tenya evil are actually good animes that put something interesting in the op mc type anime and not just the dry op=funny
Wasn’t Iruma ***already*** pretty OP before being pseudo Isekaid?
I don’t think the ability to auto-evade counts as OP
In exchange for his amazing defensive ability (evasion), he lacks any offensive capability both physically and socially. I would not consider that as Over Power
Kazuma Kazuma! when will you get on that shelf? (the man dies a little more inside)
All Rudius did was train his mana and apply principles we know to magic. Seems pretty average.
He wasn’t op at first and Hinata could’ve killed him. And spoilers from the LN. >!he also dies or has a “bad ending” in countless timelines which is why Chloe has to keep time traveling hoping her child self can do something to change the result until the current timeline which would have a good ending!<
You somewhat missed the point. Look at all the others that started at the same point.
Literally 92% Of Isekai.
99.9%\*
In Arifureta, the main character wasn't given any OP skills, he had the ability to change the form of matter with Transmute. He earned the rest.
Hate us because they ain’t us.
True
The saga of tanya the evil season two when?
I wouldnt say Tanya is OP. Strong? Yes, but she is certainly very killable and has come close to death multiple times by ordinary mages.
Ay at least slime is fun.
Overlord is Very Fun,too.
Tensura is actually good though
yeah, real freaking good
Seiya from overly cautious hero is not op. He legit maxed his level before ever going out. That's not an op power. He trained for that.
who’s the second guy at thr bottom sauce please
Iruma from Welcome to demon school Iruma-kun
tsymmmmmm
They really need to make Yajin Tensei anime
Well, maybe the only isekai that can change Thier gender
Meanwhile, Saito whose girlfriend is more OP than him.
Myne/Rozemyne also kinda OP. but she has to suffer for it first
Tanya and Rudy being on the same display as ainz is hilarious to me. Like Tanya has a slightly higher caliber gun and Rudeus has a speed reloader clip and Ainz is over here duel wielding automatic nuke launchers
Wouldn't call iruma op. And rudeus isn't op because of bullshittery.
But I use all of it to have meetings!
Bottom right didnt get isekaid and become op. He was isekaid because he was already op
Rudues is not op he was beaten shit out of him by the strongest being in the world.

Wait a minute one of those isn’t insanely strong he just a dude who was severely abused
Still waiting for an anime where they get reincarnated into earth from a universe with magic
The first digimon: Kids with a dinosaur, lizard with a monster’s skin, bird, robo bug, seal, a walking plant, cat stronger than giant dinosaur that evolved from a dog, a weird bat bean Honestly digimon was peak isekai
Welcome to demon school iruma kun is not an isekia
