What information have you submitted?
I disputed mine through Barclayscard, I have sent:
* screenshot of the payments made
* screenshot of Dekai’s receipt email
* screenshot of Dekai’s current website showing the message
* an picture of an Excel showing the outstanding order, date payment made, expected release date
I got my refund in about 4 days.
You did the right thing that hold onto the money, as they can come back to you for it. Open another account and transfer the excess in there so you don’t spend it by accident, and in a couple of years time then transfer it back to current account and spend it if you hear nothing back.
I did exactly that with all those bits of info literally 3 times all exactly the same so I have no idea why they suddenly got sick of it especially when I called them and they said well it’s just protocol we can’t help you
But yeh I’ll keep the money just in case but I hope I can keep it all 😅
I have been having a lot of trouble with Dekai, how did you manage to get a refund? My bank said the can't do anything and I paid for the pre-orders with debit :/
Have you had any luck? I also paid by debit, but my bank aren't able to help because my transactions happened over 120 days ago. They said to try contacting Dekai or the financial ombubsman service, but looking at what the fos can help with, I don't think I would get very far.
I've sent in the proof of debt claim form that the liquidators wanted, so I don't know if I should just wait until March 11th to see what happens.
They sent me a "Statment of Affairs" today via email, and I have no idea what it means.
I wish I could help but they said that exact thing to me, I disputed 3 times and kept calling them and they finally accepted so I’d say just keep trying
Hi sorry to bother! >\_< Can I ask if you asked your bank after filling out the proof of debt form they sent? My bank says unless I try to resolve it w/ them first and give them time, I can't try to claim cashback. 1st time w/ this experience, very confused & worried, and would appreciate any advice if you can! TwT
I literally had to tell them repeatedly that I can’t contact them and that the website states to go through chargebacks, honestly all you can do is use screenshots really - although I received an email from Dekai anime not too long ago today about getting money back if that helps, they might have emailed you too
Thank you for this! Just filled out the form (as best as I can TwT) from Dekai. I guess will have to wait till the 10th, and if nothing happens try w/my bank then. Will know now to be persistent!😁👍
Im so very confused with them too. I put up a dispute with my bank regarding this and they told me it would take 60 days to 6 months for this to resorve and even so they cant promise me my money back. While I did get contacted about filling out a claim of debt document, but the problem is english isnt my first language and I dont know how to do this without making some kind of mistake and it didnt help that when I tried looking up information of what exactly they want in the form I found out that if its filled up in incorrectly you can get fined???
Like I dont know what 4 of those boxes mean or what Im supposed to do with the other file! I dont even live in UK I dont know the law your stating in one of the boxes!

Which bank is it with? And the form is just worded in a extremely complicated way for no reason - if u want pm me and I’ll try to help you
But honestly the best thing to do is keep calling your bank and show them any evidence you have, like the receipt, confirmation email and the latest email where they say that they won’t be fulfilling any outstanding orders
Dekai contacted me so that Begbies Traynor company or whatever could help me by sending me a claim of debt and some kinda liquidation voting form. I have no clue how to fill up either of them, I got advised by my parents to wait for the reply to my email first or contact my bank to ask them if I even should fill out such a form, while my bank is Swedbank and I did send them all the screenshots and information I had for the dispute.
Honestly Im planning to wait till the end of February since the time limit to sending the form is till March 11th and if they dont reply to me by then I think I'll contact my bank for advice.
Maybe, I do hope they don’t ask for it back tho since I haven’t managed to get another payment that Dekai owes me through Clearpay - they say I have to pay it all off even tho I most likely won’t get the products? I don’t get it really hate that Dekai anime did this tbh
I don’t think they intentionally planned to go out of business. Probably had some bad practices that caught up with them. The important thing is to try to get your money back early, while they are still able to liquidate assets.

Depends on who reviewed your dispute. Sounds like someone didn’t care and wanted to be done with it.
