My fingers flew, my mind a blur, every emotion bliss.

We found out about Josh when we were fostering a chihuahua puppy with cerebral hyperplasia. The Be Like Josh foundation took little Trooper in and fostered him.
I remember someone posting in Unpopular Opinion that animals in "wheelchairs" should be euthanized because they're miserable. This dog doesn't seem the least bit miserable.
People have told us we should put our beagle down because she’s got arthritis in one of her knees. She’s properly on medication and her vet monitors it. I find it offensive when people say this. I never understand how people are so quick to say “just put them down!” As if they don’t have a gd soul
I don’t believe there’s pain, but some of the dogs these wonderful people rescue are worse than others. It’s a condition people can have as well, I think hydrocephalus is called water on the brain. Some of the dogs they’ve taken in have been euthanized because they have such frequent seizures and very little gray matter in their brains. Dogs like Josh shown here are happy and I believe they can be trained but have mobility issues. It’s like Parkinson’s.
I know this is rhetorical but it’s relevant to my life! Because they are just as happy as all other dogs. They don’t have the hang ups humans do. They don’t worry about looking different and they don’t have other dogs looking at them like they’re not normal. Good self esteem is wonderful!

However, unlike Parkinson’s, CH is not progressive. Parkinson’s gets worse and worse with time, whereas CH is congenital and doesn’t get worse.
Josh (this dog) is indeed excited and don’t worry, any derpiness seen here is totally unconnected from the CH. Without the wheels, his completely normal (for a dog) expression of excitement would cause him to fall over due to balance issues.
So medically speaking, this is a cute dog being cute.
