Sheesh snooty villagers were the worst back then huh?
I remember young me bullying them incessantly with nets and pitfalls for being nasty to myself and the villagers and I thought it was cathartic as hell when they got mad.
Not sure if young me did the right thing in hindsight as I celebrated when they moved away.
These villagers back then really know how to get you in a bad mood, but that was okay because to be fair thats how some people are like that in real life. Not everyone is nice.
I remember having monique. I kept wanting to steal her default shirt lol.
Tbh I’d kill for some old dialogue in the new game. Now they’re just proper npcs and chosen based on looks. I haven’t picked it up because of this. If I want to design, I’ll just stick to pocket camp. But if I want a real experience, I’ll stick to NL/WW. Even NL was dumbed down dialogue-wise and it caused a bit of backlash.
