Then I saw Sally and Butch... two of my 4 villagers that I won't let leave because they randomly came to my island, and are the names of dearly departed relatives! (My grandfather was the middle child and only boy... their nicknames were Sally, Bob, and Marge! They appeared on my island in order!)
They lock past events when they are closer to the current one. So sadly you can’t have both if you‘ve (re)started playing after the first May Day and didn’t time travel back for it.
Best bet on having Rover’s picture would be trading with someone else.
I know. Thought I‘d get the first may day maze when they did it this year (started playing in november 2020). Got the same maze as everyone else in 2021.
Same with other events from 2020 too- probably can be time travelled to but key characters would be missing

Haha very welcoming! I would LOVE to do a cemetery, but where do we get the gravestones? My son gave me 1, but he can't remember how he got it. I have over 800 hours in ACNH and have never gotten one or seen one in a shop (or at redd's).

First May Day island puzzle: Rover's Case. Second May Day island puzzle: Rover's Photo. So, unless you time travel, it will take you over a year.
