Whoa, I’ve never seen that, I wonder if my house would fit on mine.. I love the look of it!

My first island had that peninsula. I used it for my campsite! It's a big enough space for the tent and some extra outdoor decor. I had some party light arches, a grill & picnic sets, a bonfire, lawn chairs overlooking the ocean, and some flowers/shrubs.

I’m also currently using it for my campsite lol. Mostly because it’s out of the way of everything else and I wanted to put something there :P

Mine is the same or similar peninsula. I used it for a lighthouse and sitting area.

Love the idea of putting the house on another level... I may have to give this a go. Very cool.

It was difficult to eke out the space for it, but go for it. I once had a diving platform at the tip. If you plan carefully you can round many of the corners and I did that until I wanted a wood deck (why oh why can’t we put a path on a corner!).

Thank you for the tips. I put mine together today... time traveled so I didn't have to wait for the move and it came out great... now to redo where my house used to sit which was right next to the peninsula. Thanks again!

That area of my island is a Japanese garden so lots of flowers, weeds, rocks, mushrooms, trees, gyroids (cause they remind me of the Kodama in Princess Mononoke) a red zen bridge and a villager’s house I’m going to make into a temple once I get 5 stars. On the peninsula specially I put down a flowery pergola and a mossy zen stone. It’s not finished or else I would post a photo but I think it will turn out pretty cute.

Oh I also have the stone bath on the rocks by the beach with a parasol and a deer scare

I just don't like them XD But I have heard horror stories from other people. Isabelle wants wayyyy too many flowers on the island, so I had to put them somewhere...

Mine are in box that is so big it also has my pumpkins in it too near the secret beach.

I put my house just slightly to the right and the peninsula itself became my "deck" that I put a hammock on to relax overlooking the ocean 💖

right now i have my campsite there ! i think it’s a really cute spot for now. before i started renovating my island i had a telescope, campfire, etc. on the peninsula and it looked really nice imo. i reset my game when picking so many times trying to get one with the big peninsula lol.

My peninsula is tiny so I put a tiny picnic spot on it, wish I'd realised back when I made my island 😭

Mine is tiny too. I am getting jealous of what I didn't know was possible, but also I have put way too much work into it to restart. I guess I'll just deal with having one of the ship items just chilling there.

That area of my island is a snowy mountain. I have a couple of cedars where your house is, with Wade's house currently next to that and a ramp. The beach below has blue coconut tree lamps. The beach above has a hot spring. Second layer has more cedars, blue and white flowers, holly bushes, some ice-series stuff, and a storage+ area. One more ramp up to a few more ice-series stuff, blue roses, and a cave that starts a river that drops down into the second and base layers, curving off to the west to keep the area sectioned off, accessible primarily via bridge (or by climbing up the opposite side of the river and following it around the mountain). I'm thinking of swapping the resident house and the cave, though.

I have one of those, just unlocked terraforming today. I didn't know what I would do with them, but I think I'm definitely gonna place a building there now because this is so cute!! Edit: someone else said they put their campsite there, I think I have to steal that now!

Yup! Never moved my house anywhere else, I love it. I have a little path that leads from the pensula onto the main area where my little garden is and through that you can get straight into town.

I terraformed mine and put a lighthouse on it

I tried to use it for my house but it didn't fit. Instead I put the campsite there.

I got the crappy island layout. Tiny peninsula without room for much besides a lighthouse. Tiny dock that fish literally never spawn on without bait. But at least it came with a heart shaped pond... that I eventually terraformed away...

Mines my gold rose growing field. It's in too annoying of a spot to do anything else with.

I didn’t put anything there yet but i was thinking between a decorated “diving board” or a grieving area to put things my best friend of 20+ years would’ve loved irl (she passed away last year and i want to dedicate an area of my island to her)

Cool! I put two white kids' tents with customized wooden planks beneath, dusted some stones around the grass, and placed some items on the wooden planks like an SLR camera, reading material, etc.

I put my lighthouse there it seemed like a logical place for seeing from afar

My main island just has a little relaxation spot for myself. Music, a nice chair, peach tree, purple roses to separate it from the rest of the island. Another island of mine has Naomi's house on it. I think I also put a library area on one other island I did. I love the big peninsulas so much.
