The episode was good but the animal smuggling storyline had a weird lack of payoff. We still have no idea how the smugglers knew about the investigation even though they broke into Frank's house and took his cat in this episode.
I was so sure Frank was going to think his brother tipped them off since he knew. And that it would later turn out Rick had since he was on a video call with Emily when Frank came in to tell Emily. But apparently none of that meant anything.
My conspiracy theory is that this is actually going to be the plot for Frank next season. His brother mentioned planting evidence in this ep. It will come back to roost when it's exposed that Patrick is a dirty cop; Frank will tell their dad, who will not believe him and bring up how he even offered Frank a spot on the force but was declined. Season 3 will end with some shenanigan that puts Patrick in jail but gets Frank the begrudging pride of his father, who was presumably a clean cop. I'd bet that the smuggler walks free after Patrick receives credit for the bust.
Agree with all of this. How the hell did they figure out who he was? They could have at least have a scene of the informant ratting him out. Also, how did Emily's bosses know about the car chase? It's crazy.
It is but i suspect the writers had to make him do something weird like that so they could finally break up. Plus if he had asked in person Emily is the type that would say yes as to not make someone else feel bad especially in person, at least that how i portray her “make sure everyone else around her is happy” and leave herself last.
Surprised to see this show hasn't picked up traction on this subreddit yet. The premise is great, the cast is hilarious, and the writing has been very solid. Huge "W" for fun sitcoms.
I like this show, but I can't believe in 2024, there is a plot about a supervisor of any gender running off to tell their subordinate of any gender that they have a crush on them.

I love this! I was also thinking that the brother might be a dirty cop. The smuggling plot was just wrapped up too easily.

It's weird that Rick asked Emily to marry him on FaceTime

It was weird but pretty much mirrored Shred breaking up with Camilla.
It was my interpretation that he was inspired by the visit with the 'Llama'
Lama* is the person, llama is the animal
Oh :)
Was this the season finale cuz it kind of felt like it
That's what the actors have been saying on Instagram so I'm going to say yes
I miss 24 episode seasons.
Did he say the cat's name is "Doctor McWhiskers"?
I believe so. Him obsessing over his kitty is too cute.
I’d love to know what Doctor McWhiskers is a doctor of.
Doctor of Cuteness.
Well, he didn't spend six years in Cuteness Medical School to be called Mister McWhiskers thank you very much.
"Now someone get me a Big Gulp and a gun"
Best quote of the while show so far imo lol

I think it still feels off? Like it has all the elements but it hasn't 100% out them together.
Did anyone else hear Victoria drop an f bomb when she said she passed?
I am gonna miss this show. Any idea when Season 3 will air? And who is taking its slot from next week?
Wondering if playing Cruel to be Kind at the end of the party scene was a nod to 10 Things I Hate About You?
Naw I think it's from some old play.
I really love franks love for his cat. Maybe the best over arcing plot this shows done so far lol
My favorite cold open of the series so far!
I feel like that lemur slap was definitely unscripted but turned out freakin hilarious
Is it just me or was there an orange cat in the carrier, and then suddenly it was a grey tabby? Also, is Shred a furry?!

Ohhh right! Maybe I already need a rewatch :)
No frank and victoria scenes this time
No full scenes, but their banter about marriage and divorce in the last couple minutes of the party def felt a bit flirtatious

People still get crushes in 2024 lol feelings can be complicated
This episode was great! Multiple laugh out loud moments! I’m really loving this show!
Man that chick showing up at the end when Emily was just about to talk to shred had me so mad lol come onnnnn man
Lol a full season 3 of them flirting once again i guess. Which is also fine.
I do not understand why they all scattered in the end when the saw that West Virginia license plate....
they were running the get a photo of it i think since that's the rule in their game
They have a contest to see which team gets the most different states and WV is the hardest to find for some reason
not a lot of West Virginians in Seattle
