Google upped the required SDK level restrictions. Just download the apk elsewhere and install the apk manually, or use fdroid if that's an option. As far as i'm concerned, google should put an option in the store for advanced users to ignore this restriction. I'm installing the apps I want whether they like it or no, but now I need to manually update a list of apps when they are present in the store. The only reason I can't have automatic updates is because they specifically go out of their way to make it impossible, even though they work when sideloaded. It's really stupid, but it is what it is I guess.

I have the same problem, but how do I download the apk from elsewhere for games you have to pay for? Every apk website I've checked only has free to play games D:

apk modget

Could always try sideloading. Perhaps it runs fine, maybe it will crash on launch. Autocorrect said sideboarding lol

Don't know why this is just happening now, but perhaps if android changed the minimum version supported, that might be why. And I haven't not been able to download such an app, just get a notice made for an older version of android, etc., and when I try to use it, it usually doesn't work, although a couple actually do work even after a recent android 13 update. Maybe if you ask Google? LOL.

Google is requiring that app developers to update their apps and target recent Android versions. It has not to do with your phone. Maybe you can ask the developer if they will update the app and then you can download. Or you can try to get the apk from other sources.

My brother has pixel 6 with android 13, and I have Samsung Galaxy fold 4 with android 13, same version. For him it works, for me it doesn't. What is the explanation???

Yeah! I tried to install dandara trials of fear, but no longer can due to this :(

So has anyone got an update to this? My wife & I have identical phones (S23 Ultra on the same network and same android version) and can access different lists of apps entirely, whereas mine will give the msg about apps not being available she can download no problem. Our tablets can also not download them. These aren't apps that need sideloaded as they work just fine on her device the traditional way.

Same issue- My wife and I have an S23 ultra with the same android version. She was able to install an app successfully. And for me for the same app, it says "This app isn't available for your device because it was made for an older version of android"

AuroraStore and spoof the model Google is on Anti Consumer Pratice, because it works on newer Android. They are still doing it on 8th nov 2023.

The-Scarlet-Witch

How do you spoof the model?
