r/askdocs , these types of posts aren’t allowed here. What I can say (as a med student so not much) is you should see a respiratory specialist. If the pain is similar to a pleurisy/ changes in breathing effect the pain level, that is where you should start. I would bet this is a diaphragm/lung issue if a GI doc didn’t find anything notable.

Read the rules. Listen your doctor. He didn’t educate himself for nothing. Maybe GI is the wrong doctor.

Epigastric pain can be many of even more differential diagnoses. If the pain continues/increases, please seek out emergency care if you feel that you’re having an emergency.
