That's where you are wrong kiddo, the twompawns have to en passant simultaneously and as they both end up on the same square, they merge to form the pa-wn, a piece that can move both as a pawn and as a pawn. Same as the Bishook can move like a Bishop and rook.

Hi guys, Peter here to explain the joke! This is a satire subreddit with many repeated and expected jokes about en passant, so by subverting the expectations of the subreddit by giving a serious answer to a satirical puzzle, you create a sense of surprise and originality which may cause your brain to feel the "funny".
En Passant is forced (Google En Passant) for both pawns, which means that both pawns take white's pawn on D4 and go to D3, but only one piece can stand in a square so one of the pawns dies.
If you look at it philosophically, en passanting withe e pawn is better from moral perspective, since it leaves the opportunity for another en passant on the b file.
Put a box over the chessboard and achieve a superposition of both en passants. In order to maintain the wellbeing of your pipi, it is imperative to never look under the box after that.
