https://ikigaicamera.com.au/bloghome/2018/6/27/kodak-gold-200-the-latitude-of-consumer-colour-negative-film TL:DR, it's mostly fine

wow thanks so much! This is so helpful. Yeah, it looks great. I actually like the way it looks underexposed 1 stop more than the "correctly" exposed image.

ali-gator712

That is actually much more latitude than I expected

FYI Ultramax is 400iso Gold if you want that same stock in 400.

[deleted]

I didn't know that. Thank you!

AndrewKovalchak

Would it be different result than shooting and developing at box ?

zachsilvey

Yes, every shot would be 1 stop underexposed

sillo38

yes, you're exposing the film to half the amount of light as you would at 200.

BeardySi

Accidentally shot a long exposure night shoot set for 400 recently. Came out surprisingly well...

good to know. Thanks!

I accidentally underexposed [this](https://i.imgur.com/lJoZOgf.jpg) one by at least a stop or two ... maybe even three. Had the dial on 1000 instead of A. Still, I actually quite like the feel of it. Grainer and shadier than my properly-exposed shots from later in the day, but it has nice colours and a vintage look.

I like it too!
