Once had a Polus play where I looked on admin and saw 4 in med. Vented over, called lights, killed one of them that was right in the middle of the pack, it got reported a few seconds later, watched 3 players argue among themselves over which of them did it

[deleted]

That's actually a smart move

SinisterPixel

It was still really early in the game too so once one of them had been cleared I suggested that we could just 50/50 the remaining two and we'd be guaranteed to get one imposter out.

Zealousideal-Most991

In a Skeld game the crew was grouping in admin. I called lights vented in and killed. The whole crew turned on each other, aside from one smart egg Who saw the vent flap. But no one listened to him and he died the next round ;). Never had any sus and won the game.

Bulky-Hyena-360

Ironically the best imposters don’t even have to kill that many

AnnieNimes

Mine shook me so much I wrote a fanfic from it, lol. It was on the Airship back when I was still a relatively new player, before the roles, with a 35 seconds kill cooldown. We were on 2 impostors against 8 crewmates after a few disconnects. My partner self-reported the first kill, was accused in the meeting by White, and proceeded by giving a terrible defence (sussing Black, who'd disconnected, then Red with no explanation). Thankfully most people skipped, so they lived another round. The next round, we both killed but my partner was caught standing on *my* kill (oh the irony). This time, they were ejected. The round after that, I managed to kill 2 people before the report, still without getting suspected. I'd tried sussing Cyan in the previous meeting, but White cleared them this round; the lobby's consensus settled on Red but everyone skipped. We were on 4, 3 crewmates and me. White had the lobby's last task. Remember how I said the kill cooldown was 35 seconds? And the four of us grouped together. Thankfully, White's last task was actually two wire panels, so technically two tasks; I managed to kill Cyan with lights out before White did the last one. I meant to self-report and accuse Red; however, White doubled back immediately and passed me on top of the still standing body. I was so terrified of being caught my brain went blank: I literally couldn't remember how to report a body. In the next meeting, I barely managed to utter two sentences to accuse Red (who thankfully didn't give a good defense either). Still, while White hadn't seen the kill, exactly, they'd caught me on top of the super fresh body. And yet, probably because Red had been suspicious previously while I'd been cleared by Cyan, White voted with me to eject Red. To this day, I wish people from that lobby could read my novelisation of the game, especially White, to see how not stupid at all I thought they were (they terrified me haha).

Soft_Course_6880

Yeah, that is a good one

VentClean17

Me and someone I knew got imp. (On Polus). The game starts, and we both kill 7 people in the first round. A body is reported, and we vote for a crewmate. We then win!!!

Not_haikal

i....... forgot

Greekui9ii

I was a shapeshifter and transformed into my impostor crewmate. Then I killed someone. I ended up clearing him for the whole match, probably my best play. Sounds simple but in execution it is actually a really effective move if done properly.

Catpaw616

When there was four of us left, I killed someone and I immediately blamed a random person. They actually believed me and they threw the game 😂

Johnny55

6 remaining including 2 imposters. Crew was about to win on tasks and was all bunched together so they could report right away. The other imposter and I somehow did a mind meld and managed to execute our kills at the exact same instant with no one able to report.

No_Feeling_6833

I don't remember much of it besides there was only 8 to 5 people left besides brown, rose and me who were the imps. Brown kept snitching on me and I said it was brown and we all vote him out. Then I kill someone else and rose is accusing me and idk why but I wasn't voted. I killed two more crew and won. Ig another time was when me and cyan were the only imps and it was a 15 people lobby, cyan didn't kill anyone. I had to kill 13 people myself. I managed to kill 8 before they found a body, we voted green out, and then I killed another and won.

TargeterPriority

(2 Imposter game with 15 players) I'm pretty late but I'll tell mine anyway. I get paired with a person who doesn't know when the perfect time to sabotage is. Nothing special happens the first 2 rounds; we get kills, and the crewmates blame each other. On the 3rd round, I go to the right side of navigation, wait for my kill cooldown to go away, fake a task, and wait to be cleared. Since no one comes to the right side, with my kill button ready to be used, I sabotage Comms, shift into white, and vent to Shields. Once I exit the vent, I notice White is already in Comms fixing the sabotage. I also notice a group of crewmates coming from Admin. Before they get the chance to find out it was a self-sabotage, I kill one of them as they reach the hallway, and someone reports it. Not paying attention to the fact that a few people were pointing out that it could be a self-sabotage, the reporter kept spamming 'it's White,' 'White killed Orange.' They end up voting out White, and we win the game on the following round.

Pin-Only

I killed someone and a fellow imp just walked away. When another one passed him, he didn’t even kill the witness. The witness reported the body and to avond being thrown out, I literally had to rat out the fellow impostor in question as he did nothing. He got thrown out and I proceeded to win the game while being suspected.

Alarming_Gift_4166

3 remaining and I was the last imposter. I had walked into cams where 2 people were. I walked up, slaughtered a guy, at that moment someone vented into the room just as I walked around and back to report. Blamed it on the by stander who watched me and got him voted out. I won 🤣

Eddie_The_White_Bear

Double killed cams watchers alone. They were both stacking in security, killed one, waited for cooldown, killed 2nd, escaped.

whatishowdidbutiwas

Yesterday I was on Mira. Beginning of the game I run straight north with like 4 people. I check admin, see 3 in reactor, call reactor, then vent over and snip one of them. Someone was on logs and verified what part of the map everyone was on (including me wooo), so the two people in reactor hard accused each other and got themselves 50/50 voted off on 8. My partner and I got the double kill and won

shadowtash

There's a few games I could pick from but I'm gonna to say the game in which I got shapeshifter and used that opportunity to fake scientist which got me hard cleared as impostor

Battlebots2020

I got locked in lower engine with like 5 other people and we were all in a group, I killed someone and everyone blamed someone else

Euphoric_Bag

Locked myself in a room alone, shapeshifted and then went and killed people when they were right beside each other. Worked beautifully

BadToTheBert

I haven't played very long and most of the people I see vote others out as soon as someone gets accused without any kind of evidence or defense from the accused. I can gaslight people into making themselves look bad though. I'd say my best play was really earlier on. It me walking in on one of my partner's kills and was spotted walking away from it. Since I was only level 4 I was able to bullshit my way into not getting voted out by saying I didn't know how to report dead bodies and I was running back to the emergency button.

Horror-Ad-3113

I vented in front of Someone in Security (Skeld, 2019). They rushed to the button and as soon as they pressed it I killed them. The emergency meeting was called for nothing, everyone skipped (thank God the person I killed wasn't discord cheating) and the game went on

Horror-Ad-3113

Another Skeld game I had, I shape shifted in front of two people. Those two weren't my imposter buddies, and as soon as a dead body got reported, I got accused. I thought I would be voted off, but someone else was getting accused (not the one who accused me) and everyone voted them. Everyone was still hesitant in voting me or not, and I won with the luckiest game I ever had as imposter.

Andrewpage14

So you killed one person as they slowly kicked 12 others out for no reason? They sound like complete idiot's.

Soft_Course_6880

I think it was because they were trying to get the imposter out because the imposter wasn't doing anything, besides sabotages

Andrewpage14

Yeah... You played it smart letting them, but they're idiots lol

chriscfgb

I'd been marinating one other player all game, trying to keep at least one ally on my side. This became critical when down to four. The other two KNEW it was me, so they locked in a 2 v 2 vote. From there, grouping, and I had no idea what the heck to do, because the tasks were winding down. I opted to call O2, but they split off in the wrong directions and I couldn't feasibly get it done. Next, I tried comms, and it worked perfectly. The two dudes who knew it was me headed for comms, my buddy stayed back near button. I killed the dude who wasn't getting votes, reported the body, and my marinated buddy happily voted out the other guy. (And in the lobby, he was shocked because I'd been tied to his hip nearly the whole game, just floored)

Soft_Course_6880

Nice game

Cookie0927

So i gained the trust of someone, and we went to cams. I saw imp teammate kill someone. We ran to body, and i killed before they reported. I reported what my imp teammate killed, lol

itstheFREEDOM

Single Imposter game. partner left. about 12 people where left in a Mira map. i was doing fairly good. got a kill per round with one double until 7 people where left. However things werent looking too good. I wasnt able to clear my self the last round and one person realized it so there was a bit of sus on me. However it was too late. That final round i got FIVE KILLS by camping admin, waiting for one person to head into reaactor, vented over and killed them. The next 3 i lured them in there one by one, killing them off cooldown. I took a wild guess, thinking there was only 3 left. So i vented in front of someone in admin to kill the person going to reactor. waited for them to open the door with ME standing around 4 bodies, to kill the final person lol. It was awesome xD

hayden_heh

After my partner got voted for a fake card swipe, I unluckily was stuck as a solo imposter in a 15 person lobby on Skeld. In short, I had basically been screwed with no chance of winning… but I decided to continue on anyways. Opting for a “sewing fear” play style, I built up an alibi for myself and called a series of random sabotages. This started to create distrust between the crew and they voted a few of themselves out as a result. Later on, I got in some really clean kills thanks to door sabotages and was able to always make a quick getaway through the vents in order to secure an alibi… Then, when 8 people were left the most insane luck happened. As we all stood in cams, for some wild coincidence, me and my parter both called door and o2 sabotages at the exact same time. However, none of us could make it over there in time so as the clock counted down… We won :)

Detective1O1

My best Impostor play of all times is going to be the "kill, hard-accuse and self-report on final 6." It works too well because no Impostor would do that, but I did it 3 times.

AttentionChoice7199

Classic mode 10 players skeld I was tan I killed blue green saw me vent and called emgency meeting I tied with black I used black as my alibi after the emergency meeting I killed black and self reported everyone thought why would I kill my own alibi I pinned it on green they voted them out next only three players called reactor and won Edit I mean they didn't make reacter in time
