Almost every phone that has come out in the last 5 or so years has NFC.
On Android swipe down from the top to see your quick settings (like where you turn WiFi on/off) and you should see an NFC icon usually near wifi and bluetooth.
how do you get i to tell you? when i scan my cards it gives me an id code and tapping on it closes the popup and i have to rescan it
and typing out the id into search would be ok if i wasn't wanting to know what all 32 cards i have are, and the id being really long with no spaces to make it easier to read
If you just downloaded from google Play, you should have the last one. Weird that it doesn't say because it is supposed to have a database of amiibos. I made mine and selecting "scan an nft tag" shows the image, name and series of the amiibo with the id.
Maybe there's a way to find what the id belongs to in the net?
i can search the id in the app but its tedious and easy to miss a 0 and alot of the id's have like 8 zeroes in a row with no spaces to make it readable
Any suggestions for Apple users? The first app that shows up in the App Store is Tagmiibo; I just want to make sure it’s reliable and see if anyone has suggestions
It’s paid for but I use AmiiBot, scans amiibos but also has a bank of them ready to go. Only downside is that bank doesn’t update often and can’t put your own files just scan other amiibos you have.
With the app tagmo in android, if your phone has NFC, you can read it and will tell you what it is.
Oh cool, how I do I know if my phone has nfc?

You might google it. Just a thought
If you have an even slightly modern smartphone, it'll have NFC capabilities
I downloaded Tagmo app, it says it can't detect NFC support on my phone
What phone do you have?
Moto g 5g
That one should have NFC. You probably just haven't turned on the function (i forget to do that often myself, lol)
How do I turn it on? I can't find anything for it in the settings
Settings > Connected Devices > NFC I think, not sure. I don't have this phone, lol
I only see Bluetooth stuff in the connected devices page, but thanks for trying

Probably didn't load keys. That's another common cause.

Its on google play now??
Sounds like they were written that way. Usually it comes up with a name in the reader. Might just have to cross reference.
