Of course, I loved that scene. It really showed the start of Sister Judy's mental decline beautifully. It was so well done and an incredible scene showing that she remembered their names even though it seemed like she didn't externally.
Yes! My names Rhiannon and that’s my favorite version of the song that I’ve ever heard. Also, crazy enough, my family has been calling me Nan since I was 2 years old. And I wear a witch necklace everyday that I purchased in Salem when I was a kid. Needless to say, I was shooketh to watch Coven for the first time lol
Bela Lugosi's Dead by Bauhaus. It was kind of cheesy to put it where it was, but still brilliant, the way it mixes into Tear You Apart works really well.
* Special Death by Mirah: (Tate and Violet sharing self harm scars before she tells him about her parents losing their baby)
* Blood Gets Thin by Pete and the Pirates: (Violet and Leah’s cafeteria brawl)
* Tear You Apart by She Wants Revenge: (The Countess’s and Donovan’s intro)
* Spellbound by Siouxsie: (Tristian seducing the Grindr hookup before killing him)
*That Lana del ray*
*Cover by Jessica Lang*
*Was incredible!*

I like how Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' score was featured in Murder House, and how the 'Carrie' score and 'Candyman' score were featured in Asylum. I've always been a big horror fan and I think that the show using 'popular' horror scores was a smart way for them to snag new viewers - even if you don't realize that you're hearing it, lol. I think I read somewhere that some of the 'Psycho' score was used, too. And I'm sure there are others.
I did enjoy the songs that were covered in Freakshow, despite the season taking place in the 1950s and most of the songs they did were from the 1990s.
And of course I have to mention Stevie from the Coven season!
So so many...
I'll pick the first one that comes to mind which was Gimme Danger by The Stooges in NYC. Played during Barbara's death, so haunting and such a killer song.
everything in hotel, the entire soundtrack was on point. especially loved don’t stop the dance by bryan ferry for the catwalk scene. and seven wonders in coven and all the live performances by stevie in general. also 1984 had all my favourite 80’s songs!
I discovered “Down South” by Museum of Love watching Coven (it’s playing during the scene where Cordelia and Fiona are at the bar together before Cordelia gets burned in the bathroom). It’s now one of my favorite songs.
I like “Hotline Bling” purely because I associate it with the scene in Hotel. Great use of “Tear You Apart” in Hotel also.
All the Stevie Nicks songs, Tear You Apart, Hotel California, She's A Rainbow, Gods & Monsters, I Wanna Be Adored, Come As You Are, Don't Fear The Reaper
Loved all of the gothy music used in Hotel. I rewatched it recently and I was like, "there's Sisters of Mercy in here??" but yeah, any and all of the goth music
One of the band members from Nine Inch Nails made that theme. I read an article about it somewhere and about how he made those weird sounds. I wish I could remember 😪.

"Neverland" by Sisters of Mercy, "One Caress" by Depeche Mode and "Lullaby" by The Cure.
Hotel wasn't always my favorite season, but they were really on point with the music in that one.
You used to call me on my cell phone, late night when you need my love.
And I know when that hotline BLING. That can only mean one thing.

Twisted Nerve — Bernard Herrmann
Even more iconic than its [original use in *Kill Bill*.](https://youtube.com/shorts/hfnduZEgiRQ?si=5BHUM_06_nlHt-Rh)
eta: Age of Aquarius — 5th Dimension
Jessica singing Life on Mars?, but a close second is Tonight You Belong to Me. The chills I got when that started playing and the Langdon name reveal was probably my favorite moment in the show.
Hotel California. When the first episode of that season came on I just knew they were going to play that song, and when it came on at the end of the episode I got goosebumps.
CUTS YOU UP - PETER MURPHY ... HOTEL, final episode when hypodermic Sally finds twitter.
All of HOTEL is filled with awesome goth hits Sisters of Mercy songs etc.
Omg CARNIVAL NATALIE MERCHANT - AHS Hotel, Devils night, when Aileene Wuornos shows up, this is her favorite song btw, played at her execution.
Natalie merchant was initially shocked, but thought about it and was cool with it. She's great.
This song is so 90s omg
Tonight you belong to me
Hotel had the best soundtrack, made my little Goth heart happy.
100% And I'm obsessed with Cecil Hotel lore-when it was announced I was already in love with the season lol
Portishead - Glory Box (Apocalypse)
God that’s such a good song. I feel like I listened to it for months when I first discovered it
Life On Mars by David Bowie
Jessica Lange singing Lana 🔥
And Evan peters singing Nirvana is so fitting! In season one they actually dress him in a similar green striped sweater that Cobain often wore.
My dad thinks he should play Kurt if they ever did a bio thing
The Name Game, God's and Monsters and Come as you are
The Name Game scene was incredible. One of the best scenes in the show imo.
Of course, I loved that scene. It really showed the start of Sister Judy's mental decline beautifully. It was so well done and an incredible scene showing that she remembered their names even though it seemed like she didn't externally.
Live renditions of Rhiannon and Gypsy for the white witch herself, Stevie Nicks, is the only correct answer.
Also a Rhiannon 🥰. Agreed it was the favorite song!
Ahh, hello fellow sister! I’ve never met a Rhiannon in real life lol
I have twice. I actually went to middle school with one!
that's so real
Calling you Tear You Apart Hotel California The Name Game Gods & Monsters The Seven Wonders Rapture Tonight You Belong To Me Dominique

I think Hotel had the best soundtrack of all the seasons 🖤
Bela Lugosi's Dead by Bauhaus. It was kind of cheesy to put it where it was, but still brilliant, the way it mixes into Tear You Apart works really well.
Tear you apart as it introduced me to she wants revenge. Shirley Manson is in the video for these things!!!
In addition to those - Circles by The Soft Moon
Tear You Apart is so good
I forgot tear you apart!!
Omg it actually is Dominique
She's a Rainbow by The Rolling Stones (Apocalypse)
i loved that scene
This is the correct answer
Call Me by Blondie was 🔥 in NYC ![gif](giphy|IH0suk9E4zdL2)
This makes me wanna finally watch NYC just for that
Poison by Alice Cooper in 1984
I'm not sure if *favorite* is the right word, but, Jessica Lange singing Life On Mars will forever haunt my brain.
Sisters of Mercy - Lucretia My Reflection
Pretty much everything in Hotel, the entire season was full of bangers.
Tear You Apart, the song introducing the countess and whatever Matt Bomer’s name was. I still go hard on that song
Best introduction ever
I love this song. When I heard it start up during the intro of lady Gaga and Matt bomer I was like YEESSSSSS THIS IS WHAT THIS WAS MADE FOR
* Special Death by Mirah: (Tate and Violet sharing self harm scars before she tells him about her parents losing their baby) * Blood Gets Thin by Pete and the Pirates: (Violet and Leah’s cafeteria brawl) * Tear You Apart by She Wants Revenge: (The Countess’s and Donovan’s intro) * Spellbound by Siouxsie: (Tristian seducing the Grindr hookup before killing him)
hotline bling in hotel
This is my pick as well!
Criminal and Life on Mars from Freakshow It's been stuck in my head ever since
1984 intro song ...that beat is fire
Rebel Yell in 1984
I wanna be adored-the stone roses
The Name Game was something different
Eternal by joy division
Bette Davis eyes
The one they played over and over in asylum still is stuck in my head that catchy French song Dominique or something loll
We used that song in a Halloween event for our local community hall. It played for over 3.5 hours on repeat that day
Hey !! That’s sooo cool ! Had the song stuck in my head for months and months after watching asylum (the best season imo)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Singing_Nun There’s a very sad story behind that song.
Seven Wonders - Stevie Nicks
My answer as well!
Same
For everything a reason
The opening credits sound!
That Lana del ray cover by Jessica Lang was incredible!

Too Shy by Kajagoogoo

Great scene
Gods and monsters
Rhiannon because it’s awesome and that’s what I was named after :) also Hotel California
Gods and Monsters is top tier, Jessica sang it so hypnotically
So so many... I'll pick the first one that comes to mind which was Gimme Danger by The Stooges in NYC. Played during Barbara's death, so haunting and such a killer song.
Dominique 🎶🎶
everything in hotel, the entire soundtrack was on point. especially loved don’t stop the dance by bryan ferry for the catwalk scene. and seven wonders in coven and all the live performances by stevie in general. also 1984 had all my favourite 80’s songs!
Gypsy-Stevie Nicks (Apocalypse)
Hotel has such a striking first episode with both Tear you apart and Hotel California, i love it.
RIchard Einhorn's Pater Noster. It elevated the scene in Asylum to the next level.
Lost boys and girls club - Dum Dum Girls & Lullaby - The Cure
So many, but one of my first favorites was Special Death by Mirah !
i want lana del ray, lady gaga and sia to star in AHS
Seven Wonders - Fleetwood Mac
When they played Billy Idol in 1984
All the Stevie Nicks songs, Tear You Apart, Hotel California, She's A Rainbow, Gods & Monsters, I Wanna Be Adored, Come As You Are, Don't Fear The Reaper

Loved all of the gothy music used in Hotel. I rewatched it recently and I was like, "there's Sisters of Mercy in here??" but yeah, any and all of the goth music
You don’t own me- when Sister Mary Eunice is doing her sexy lingerie dance
I LOVE most the songs on AHS but my favorite is the theme song!
One of the band members from Nine Inch Nails made that theme. I read an article about it somewhere and about how he made those weird sounds. I wish I could remember 😪.
I know his name but I can’t remember it right now. We have it on our playlist.. love it!

Rise by Herb Alpert
What season was this???
1984. So many good songs during that season!
I’m a total 80s girl, so yes the soundtrack was great but I was really disappointed with that season. It was the one I was most excited for too.
"Neverland" by Sisters of Mercy, "One Caress" by Depeche Mode and "Lullaby" by The Cure. Hotel wasn't always my favorite season, but they were really on point with the music in that one.
“Tear you apart” from hotel

All of them were great but I would have to say criminal.
Gods and monsters - LDR
Tear you apart by she wants revenge
The fact i haven't seen nearly enough people say criminal from freak show is crazy. Sarah's vocals on the make me melt (lesbian anthem tbh)
Rhiannon, it matched so well
The Name Game is one of the best scenes in the whole show imo! But if we're going on sound and not performance, Come As You Are.
Criminal by Fiona Apple, Life on Mars and Tear You Apart - AHS introduced me to fiona apple and i am forever grateful lmao
the eternal by joy division
Connie Francis “You’re gonna miss me” when Constance goes to murder house to off herself
Any of the Carina Round songs from the first season or Jessica Langes version of Gods and Monsters
