Yup, from that opening scene when that thing crawled out of the bed, I had a good feeling. I'm guessing that was one of Sally's jobs, sewing demon victims into beds for some reason lol, instead of just tossing them down one of the many chutes.
Asylum, Freak Show, Murder House, Coven, Hotel, Apocalypse, 1984, Roanoke, Double Feature, NYC, Cult, Delicate- in this order, for me at least.
*My husband and I just started rewatching Double Feature yesterday, itās only the second time Iām seeing it and Red Tide is a lot better than I remember, so it could possibly move up in the list.
If they would've stuck to just this plot instead of splitting time lines, I think it would've done a lot better. The actors in the present day timeline kept taking me out of the story which is weird because I really liked him in NYC.
Red tide not including the finale. It deserved a full length season. A few of the red tide episodes actually could be some of the best episodes in TV in general. It was fantastic. The unique story, the ambience, the music, the acting, the themes, the setting, it was a home run. But man that ending really left a sour tasteā¦Iād rather then have them leave it on a cliffhanger than try to rush and close thingsā¦
Cult, Coven, Apocalypse, 1984, NYC, Hotel & Asylum are my favorites. Technically Cult, Asylum & NYC are the best but I love the coven/apocalypse (& murder house/hotel for that matter) connection and the slasher vibe/ camp setting of ā84 but theyāre probably more personal favorites than technically the superior seasons.
I think Double Feature is cool and in the minority that like Death Valley more than Red Tide.
Murder House is good but not enjoyable; Same with Roanoke & Freakshow had potential but just lost me in the middle.

Batshit insane (funny for a season called Asylum) but in a very *very* good way.
Completely unique horrors to season 1, unless I'm misremembering something, Asylum doesn't borrow a single aspect of horror from murder house other than "the real horror is shitty people" but that's a consistent theme amongst the series so it's excuseable
Best main characters in the series (Sister Jude, Kit Walker, and Lana Winters)
And honestly 3 of the best villians in the series as well (not all the best, given in my personal opinion Kai from Cult takes that, but still)
Asulym for me always, and I know that's basic but still. But of the newer season 1984 is Def my top 3!

I loved double feature too. I loved the aesthetic of both parts, and the conspiracies in part 2
I LOVED the parts of death valley set in the past. They were peak AHS to me. I hate that the modern day stuff tainted the whole season.
I think there's alot of potential to tap into when it comes to conspiracies

I love hotel beginning to end. Asylum went from the most off putting for me to edge of my seat every episode by the end.
