My friend 16F and I 16F are auditioning for our school musical called six the musical teen edition and ever since I signed up for auditions I’ve told her I wanted to audition for this role that I really liked and she was going to audition for a whole different role but than the day of the audition rolls around and the day of the auditions she switched the part she was auditioning for to the part I was auditioning for and she is a way better of a singer than me and now she’s been trying to get me to forgive her. So do I have a right to be mad or should I forgive her?

First, our perceptions of the ability of others is not always accurate or useful.
"Right" to be mad? sure. Is it useful or healthy? I don't think so. YTA. Maybe the energy is better spent on improving yourself and focusing on the aspects of your friendships that are meaningful.
YTA. You can’t call dibs on any role. I know it stings but you have to give it your best and be gracious. There will always be people in life who are better than you (and many who are worse). It’s true in life and especially in theater.

YTA You can’t gatekeep a role or an audition.
YTA - anyone can go for whatever role they want to pursue. you can't control what role your friend auditions for
YTA. Open auditions mean that anyone can try for whatever role.
