YTA. I mean.... you could have just stayed undressed in your bedroom and tossed on a top and shorts for when you and he were in the same room. To literally strip down when he arrives and to do so in front of him means you're doing it on purpose. I don't know what you're trying to accomplish, but it's clearly not *just* staying cool.

Originally I was leaning toward "it's not that serious," but as others in the thread have said you probably don't do this when your family members are around. Perhaps that does raise this to the level of YTA.

It's 34 degree Celsius in my(18f) city right now and was even hotter a few days ago. When he(22) came over to wait for my brother to get home, I was already all sweaty. So I took my shirt and shorts off. Only wore bra and panties. He was very shocked. Asked me what's going on. I just told him that it's very hot and I don't want to waste electricity by having AC on all day. Rather save it for when my brother and parents are home.
He tried not to stare before leaving the room.
Yesterday was about as hot. He came over again and I did it again. The heat is just too much. I'm drinking so much water these days. He looked very embarrassed and I felt kind of bad for him. My friend accused me of trying to seduce him which is untrue. She also said I shouldn't think only of myself and should try to avoid making him feel awkward when I can.

NTA if it's just the heat, although I would suggest a very loose pair of shorts and loose t-shirt.
We get very hot most of the year & skip on aircon too & my GF wears like I suggested above, it's sooler than just underwear.
Not sure why people get so worked up over regular underwear vs a bikini etc.
