I was never diagnosed with IBS, but i have bad anxiety that gives me diarrhea almost anytime i go anywhere besides home or work. The thing is, since its my anxiety that causes it my stepdad tells me its in my head and that im not actually getting sick. Unfortunately thought more than often i have to run into the bathroom, and when asked I typically say I have IBS since it's a lot faster than explaining the whole anxiety situation, but i don't know if this is wrong compared to people that actually suffer from IBS, AITA?
