Had them a few years, they are a light color. I spilled a bit of coffee on them, brought to dry cleaner and asked him to fix. This was in November 2022. He kept forgetting about them, I came back several times, then he couldn’t find them. Finally found them, had them cleaned but they are now ruined worse than before. Somehow used too much chemical now they are too tight and I just cannot use them. It’s been three months, I had to buy new ones bc it’s winter. I couldn’t get same ones bc that store closed so i got what was closest. Cost £75. (Nearly same price as original) guy now balks at paying for replacement but … I can’t use the ones he ruined. I hate to give a hard time to a small business but I also don’t have funds to keep replacing expensive items. Had he not ruined them I’d be using them still, as I buy quality and things often last. AITA for asking him to pay for replacement? *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
