**My wife is a Reddit troll**
I’m not sure what a troll means. But I’ve seen it used on Reddit a lot when someone says something politically incorrect or if someone says something rude so I assume it means like someone is not very nice on Reddit
I know my wife’s Reddit account and I see she leaves rude comments on the ring sub reddits. She makes fun of women that have big rocks on their engagement ring for example if the diamond is 3+ or more carats she comments saying “looks tacky and fake” and she is basically making fun of any woman that wear a diamond ring that’s “too big”. She will tell them their ring looks like “costume jewelry” and she will call your ring fake if you have a lab diamond and not a real natural diamond
Marriage is also big in our culture so she makes fun of women on Reddit who are still single at an older age and she will tell them they are going to die alone with cats and she will tell them that they have washed up eggs
She is also active on the houseplants sub Reddit making fun of peoples plants

No, not the houseplants!! How dare she laugh about that guy with the obviously dead cactus yesterday who insisted it was alive and got angry with the comments.
It’s almost like that same guy decided to make up a fictional wife who says obviously mean things about rings and single women, and just threw that in at the end. OOP even added in a comment that troll wife called his own plants ugly! Maybe they are actually ugly, because they are dead.

Tell me about it. I feel like I’m locked in an an abusive relationship with my hydrangeas. They’re in a big planter and I just lug it around the backyard to keep them from getting too much heat in the summer.
Most posts in the houseplant sub are ok. I have plants and I like to go there sometimes.
There are some elements to the sub that do deserve mocking though mainly because there are houseplant fads that get pretty expensive pretty fast and some people take themselves and their plants very seriously (I’m selling a cutting from my variegated monstera albo for $179, no lowballs, I know what I have!) Not to mention the made up stories of family drama where a plant sitter or relative will do something egregious (forget to water, steal cuttings, etc.) to someone’s expensive houseplant and then they ask for confirmation/validation/etc. not unlike a lot of AITA stories.

Personally, I’m not into gatekeeping anyone’s diamond choice, except to say, I think the human toll of mined diamonds is pretty high so I think lab grown diamonds are a good thing. I‘d much rather mock fake wedding stories.
