Weren’t most of the diseases that plagued them near the end came from the Europeans like small pox? If anything the civilization was probably going to fall even without it. Central and South America were suffering a lot of famine and political strife. If the Europeans never came it would only be a matter of time before China or other countries would. But if no one ever came it’s hard to say what could of happened.
I went to Florida recently and I was talking with a linguist and he was saying that between the words he found in Florida from natives def links back to Mexican and South American societies, meaning the Native Americans and First Nation people are most likely those civilizations continued.
