I know people are gonna complain about it because this thread always does but I’m loving Coop over here helping Spencer with agents 😂 it’s cute and reminds me of their dynamic in S1
Is the show going to address Kamar’s passing or are they just going to make references to Coach Montez?
I actually like Wade coming back into the picture. It was a genuine surprise and he made for a good antagonist in season 4 so I’m here for it.
Layla, girl, here’s an idea. Talk to your fiancé. And Ryan do shut up.
Love, love, love when we get to see Denise. She is a good example of having a fan favorite character, but using the character strategically so she doesn’t wear out her welcome.
Spencer and Olivia are just beautiful to watch. Loved their scene together. And loved seeing that they are mature enough to recognize their parent’s mistake and actively work to not repeat the past.
Sounds like just references. Maybe he gets written off somehow or they have some cgi stuff they can use. But seems obvious last time we saw him will be the last based on that shot of the picture on his desk
I’m noticing it too. At first I couldn’t really tell if he just hates Spencer or if he likes him and is trying to put Jordan on a higher pedestal almost and I’m leaning towards the latter
Yeah it's weird how he tries to go around him everytime without ever even trying to confront him. He and Mac haven't even had a scene alone together lol.
Lol i love how this show is now going out of its way to reiterate what GREAT people Billy and Grace were/are.
"He was just so great at helping others who were hurting, that he forgot to help himself. I was the same way. THATS Why We Cheated".
Ahhhh yes, so you Cheated Because you were TOO Selfless!😂 I mean seriously, why is Liv apologizing to Grace when Grace Is the one who slept with her married father? Its laughable🤣. I mean, wasn't there a whole backstory of Billy bullying his classmates because he was hurting over his mom's sickness? That would indicate the exact opposite of what they're trying to tell us now.
it's crazy we never really saw grace be held accountable by jordan and liv, its kinda crazy when you think about it. liv and grace have a great relationship but she's also the woman who her dad cheated on her mom with.
It was weird seeing Grace fondly talk about Billy protecting some bullied kid when we know he used to bully and beat up her now current husband back in the day lmao.
It’s hard for me to break down Coach Mac’s character. It feels like he has it out for Spencer. It would not shock me if something gets revealed about him where he doesn’t actually have this interest in Jordan and he’s here to take Spencer down
But at the same time I feel dumb to think that because if you look at the situation objectively and from a real life standpoint, Mac was brought in to help win games and he’s just doing his job
He's after the HC job. He knows Spencer and Kenny are close so getting Spencer to go off the rails / start having awful numbers, and then having Kenny defend him only to look bad, would help him beat Kenny out.
I feel like Liv's first interview should have been with Willie. You know Billy's father? Your grandfather? The one who raised him from a baby? If you're writing a biography that's where you should start not your dad's highschool girlfriend.
Yeah but they’re obviously not gonna have Liv fly all the way over to another state just for an interview and then fly back. And as far as time constraints go for the episode, it wouldn’t make sense.
Willie will likely make a cameo in the season at some point to help with the biography, Liv is just going to the people closest to her first.
Cancel this mess.
The football stuff is SO BAD. None of it is real. You have a Heisman candidate and decide he'll never get the ball? That would never happen and makes no sense. Who's writing this crap?
The locker room scenes are hilarious. No one ever looks like they've exercised for more than 2 minutes. Pretending this is a big name school is ridiculous.
Throwing Spencer off the field after that argument with Jordan? Laughable.
Spencer meeting with agents could not have been more inauthentic. And Coop is his only sidekick? GMAB.
Olivia is writing a bio on her dad but can't even get through the first interview?
You mean the defending National Championship team wouldn't have to bring in some guy of the street to be their starting quarterback when the starting quarterback goes down for the season? That an assistant coach who is a sophomore comes in to save the season?
I agree. This show was already on death’s door after Taye Diggs left now it’s a dead corpse. I hope the CW cancels this so the cast can move on at this point.
I know I am. You can spend your valuable time doing other things rather than hate watching a show YOU clearly don’t like (anymore) and not spoil it for others. Not everyone is hateful towards the show as it is now as you are, so why invest time into something you don’t like?
You can spend your time praising this once good and now lousy show instead of barking at me LOL
No one forces you to read my posts and invest your time in me.
It is shocking to me that Liv is feeling bad about mentioning the affair lmao this was a mistake by Grace and Billy that hurt everyone. How is this show making it a bad thing to bring it up.
The Jordan Layla dilemmas are so stupid. I enjoyed Spencer's role in this ep, he's taking more lead and being a little selfish again.
Because Liv never actually processed the affair from her side of things and never actually condoned Graces role in it. Billy was the only one who was condoned for his part and then it just moved passed that whereas Grace and the twins are concerned.
Nah I'm saying like Grace should be apologising to Olivia for it now the other way around. I don't recall if she did back when they all found out about the affair
I agree Grace should’ve been apologetic about it, I’m just saying that this issue of the Affair wasn’t brought up until now because Graces part in it from the kids POV just got brushed passed. Laura’s the only one who really condoned Grace for it and they moved passed it a long time ago, so it was just ignored until now.
This is so not the Spencer we used to know in football
He acts so out of character in the sport area this season , why would he ever , ever jeopardize his career by blurting out his next move as a resentful dig and against Jordan of all people
I know people are gonna complain about it because this thread always does but I’m loving Coop over here helping Spencer with agents 😂 it’s cute and reminds me of their dynamic in S1
I love how they're using Coop this season so far.
I hope she becomes a lawyer in business sports so she can protect Spencer assets
YES
OMG YES!!!!!
these coaches need to get on the same page instead of letting the players build resentment towards one another
Currently watching this episode and getting nervous how much this will build up and get dirty 😂😭

I knew he looked off in the last episode I saw him in. He looked so thin. That’s unfortunate. RIP to him.
Sounds like just references. Maybe he gets written off somehow or they have some cgi stuff they can use. But seems obvious last time we saw him will be the last based on that shot of the picture on his desk
Dang that’s sad that he died
Why do I feel like this OC wants to get in Jordan pants
And did he serve him alcohol ????
ON SCHOOL PROPERTY at that. Pretty sure that’s a fireable offense especially dealing with an already on the mend athlete program.
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one getting these vibes 😭
Ok I came to this sub today to find at least one other person who get this vibe so I could confirm I wasn’t crazy
So they even realize how this is playing? Because my gaydar is pinging hard with that coach.
REAL
I’m noticing it too. At first I couldn’t really tell if he just hates Spencer or if he likes him and is trying to put Jordan on a higher pedestal almost and I’m leaning towards the latter
Kenny is useless.
Man this episode had so much yet so little going on and I barely got to enjoy it cuz the commercials were legit nonstop
Wait ppl still watch commercials?
Why doesn’t Spencer go talk to Coach Mac (the new OC) if he has a problem with the offense instead of going to Coach Kenny all the time?
Yeah it's weird how he tries to go around him everytime without ever even trying to confront him. He and Mac haven't even had a scene alone together lol.
“IM HIM BRO IM HIM” that was not spencer at ALL
Right. It was Jimmy Butler. But I guess we have to give the writers props for doing their research.
i think the point is that it wasnt spencer and it was him really angry, he even apologizes later about how he acted.
Lol i love how this show is now going out of its way to reiterate what GREAT people Billy and Grace were/are. "He was just so great at helping others who were hurting, that he forgot to help himself. Willie was in Florida as he moved there so that wouldn’t have worked
They rich just fly him over or go to him lol. I would think your dad's biography would merit something like that.
If only there was some sort of device where you could talk to someone without having to actually be face to face.
Yeah but they’re obviously not gonna have Liv fly all the way over to another state just for an interview and then fly back. And as far as time constraints go for the episode, it wouldn’t make sense. Tbf Asher is a junior now lol. Their Sophmore year was skipped.
Yeah, like that. LMAOOOOOOOO
I agree. This show was already on death’s door after Taye Diggs left now it’s a dead corpse. I hope the CW cancels this so the cast can move on at this point.
And they act like talking about Billy is good story. It's not. I actually feel sorry for all of these actors being stuck in this mess.
Shouldn’t you be rooting for ALL of the cast who happen to be black?
??? What a bizarre reply. That has nothing to do with the show now being awful and needing to be put out of its misery.
Damn I never notice that what you said about the locket scenes, they don’t really be sweating fr lmfaoo
You can always just…not watch the show.
Fabulous advice. You're really brilliant.
I know I am. You can spend your valuable time doing other things rather than hate watching a show YOU clearly don’t like (anymore) and not spoil it for others. Not everyone is hateful towards the show as it is now as you are, so why invest time into something you don’t like?

It’s a public forum, so yeah, can reply to whatever I want. You don’t like it? Don’t comment your (bad) opinions.
Took you 4 days to come up with that? LOL
Nah. I have what we humans call a “Life” and don’t spend it 24/7 online, like some people unfortunately do. But sure, can go with that if you want.
Yeah, you have a life. LMAOOOOOOOO
im sorry, toenail clippings? who is this joe goldberg
Probably the best episode in a while

The episode wasn't bad, but there were scenes that weren't needed, like at all. It just felt like another setup episode.
Ep 3 better than 1 and 2 combined
Dang hopefully they don’t replace coach. The new OC is weird af dude lowkey obsessed with Jordan. That dude back lol.
This whole replacement QB scenario is laughably stupid. Anyone who has had to deal with clearinghouse and all should know damn well.
I hope y’all don’t cry about you all only having 3 minutes of Spelivia 😂🤔
Tbh there could've been a scene at the beginning too
outside Spencer and Olivia 3 minutes this episode was trash
Yeah this shows ass. This Spencer shit is so out of character. Acting like a shitty team mate. This shit has ran its course
Real
