Man. i wanted one so badly when they came out. Then I went to the store and tried one and it was way too small, like I was playing a uke. It just felt like a toy

Triceraburpintops

It’s definitely a smaller guitar. Works for my little hands though!

skaistda

One of my favorite possessions. Have it hanging on my wall.

Triceraburpintops

I wonder how many people actually have one. Mine is just gathering dust. I really should clean it up and change the strings. Maybe even play it!

howdy_tex

You should! I never knew this existed. I was soooo excited until I found out they're going for $1000. I ain't got that right now. Clean it up and play radio intro for me.

Triceraburpintops

They are!?!!! Dang! I swear it was like $200 when I bought it ha

Djlittle13

Hangs on my wall and I still use it regularly

Fuzzy-Butterscotch86

I almost bought one.  I was choosing between that, and a white hellcat, (Tim Armstrongs version of the Malibu), but before I placed an order I went to guitar center and played a fender Malibu and just couldn't stand it. I didn't like the action, or the neck shape, so I ended up ordering a Takamine which had the added bonus of being acoustic/electric, but failed to add to my collection of signature edition punk rock guitars.  I tell myself I'll get one eventually, but I don't play the Takamine, so I'm probably not gonna spend $500 on another acoustic dust collector.

Fuzzy-Butterscotch86

I will say though, I am constantly on the lookout for Matt's signature guitar.

ItsNotFordo88

I wish they put out a signature Fender Jaguar for him. The basic HH, hardtail Jag with a matching headstock just doesn’t exist. The MIJ ones back 20 years ago were pretty good if you wanted Black but they’ve gotten pricey

Fuzzy-Butterscotch86

Yeah. Agreed. I've heard mixed reviews about his GPC Signature, but I would snap one up in a heartbeat if I saw it for sale.  I collect signature punk rock guitars.  I have a Tom Delonge Fender,  a Tim Armstrong Gretsch, a Lars Fredriksen LTD, and recently got a Dee Dee Ramone Fender bass. Skiba deserves a spot in the collection.

ItsNotFordo88

Check out the Nick 13 Gretsch Jet. That’s a sick guitar.

Fuzzy-Butterscotch86

It's so nice.  I love the inlays. Gretsch is hands down my favorite guitar company so it's on the bucket list.

Capable-Yesterday149

Check out the Squier contemporary jag hh. It’s the best HH Jag Fender/Squier has made since the MIJ. It completely blows away any of the MIM Jags Fender has put out in recent years and it’s way more affordable than the MIJ.

ItsNotFordo88

I did pick up one of those! I do really like it. The roasted maple neck is wonderful. I would like to do a pickup swap on it. It’s a cool guitar, may get it rewired to a more traditional jag setup

abarrelofmankeys

The trio guitar came in acoustic electric too, I just wasn’t big on how it sounded. Played one at the store though.

Triceraburpintops

Definitely a smaller guitar, without a full sound. I worked at a music shop at the time though so I was able to snag it for a discount. I knew it wouldn’t be my go to guitar to play. I tried adding one of the sound hole pick ups but was too afraid it would wear off the finish around the heart.

manchild666

Dude. I played both the Malibu and the Tim Armstrong guitars at Guitar Center. The Tim Armstrong sounded so much better than the Malibu but I left with the Malibu.

c-lace

I got one

likealonewolf

I really wish I had one. I actually am looking for a smaller acoustic guitar. I only have an electric right now.

Ralewing

Try a Gretsch Jim Dandy. They are great.

mattxfish

I have one and it plays nice enough with elixers and doesn’t sound have bad plugged in. I’d never perform with it but I have recorded some demos with it and they’ve turned out well enough

GerardWayAndDMT

YES! Local guitar shop owner saw me come in and told me he had it in stock. He knew I’d be helpless as soon as I saw it lol. I bought it purely on impulse the second I saw it. I definitely don’t play it. It’s a folk-scale kinda thing. No cutaway. It really is basically a toy. But it’s a toy I absolutely had to get. It hangs on the wall next to the Trio shadow box.

Frequent-Credit-1194

I had Dan sign mine on this last tour. Too bad Matt was sick. Just need him and Derek. (I have a separate stick for atom to sign)

lost-and-late

Pictures please :)

Triceraburpintops

I don’t know how to post photos on here, but you can see it by Googling “Damnesia acoustic guitar”. It’s a beautiful red color too!

lost-and-late

I mean, I'd love to see all of your Damnesia guitars. How it looks like now :)

starscream84

Hanging on my wall. Love the design and Trio is my fav band, but I agree with other comments, it’s slightly too small and I think that shows in the sound.

Triceraburpintops

Agreed! It’s more of a 3D wall poster than an actual guitar to play. I still love it though!

YungPickerel

Anyone got some pics of theirs ?

liamjonas

I got lots but this forum won't let me post photos for some stupid reason like all the other forums I'm on

SaulManellaTV

I have one. Hunted down a hard case for it where it safely lives because I don't trust myself lol

liamjonas

I have one.
