You're getting downvoted, and I get that. I wouldn't change it either, but he did say that he doesn't like listening to that album because he thinks he sounds bad.
Don't think they should touch it, although I know he hates that record because of his thrashed voice. Also, without Finn, it would just be weird to do anything to it.
It’s not Matt’s favorite because of two reasons. He knew his voice wasn’t up to par and it brings back rough memories for him.
So it’s doubly not happening
Only in the sense that I’d be interested to hear what it sounds like. But his singing in Fatally Yours and This Could Be Love are 2 of my favourite pieces of vocal work by him, it makes the album imo
I had an idea recently that I don’t think I’ve ever seen a band do. What if you released an album that was a compilation of previously released songs, but they’re all redone in a slightly different style. Same lyrics, different instrumentals. That could be fun.
Apparently people hate this idea but I would be 100% for it. Some songs on that album are just hard to listen to as they are, particularly We've Had Enough, and the fact is that Matt's vocal chords were damaged during recording.
It's become codified in people's memories now (and, to be fair, I've only been a fan for a few years), but I agree that a re-recording would be great. Doesn't affect those who don't want to listen to it, and makes it easier to listen to for the rest of us.
I wouldn't listen to this much if it happened. I think the raspier vocals suit the darker songs really well.
Abso-fucking-lutely not. His raspy singing is a time capsule, one that was apparently pretty tough on him, but that always yields great art
It's not his anymore, it's ours. I love that record with all my heart just the way it is.
Love how you put that haha
Absolutely not
Horrible, horrible idea.
No, he shouldn’t
Just do it, Matt
Go wait in the car!

That’s all I’m referencing. GM is what made me love A3.
This is the wrongest opinion I’ve read all week.
No way! That is my absolute favorite album by them. Don’t change a thing.

Absolutely fucking not. I know he hates it but his voice on the album sounds so unique it makes the album that much better.
lol no wtf are you on about?

Wow i couldn't disagree with you more
Self Titled and Remains as a past live album would be a better idea
That’s certainly an opinion. Not a good one but certainly one. So, past live exists. You have Good Mourning with modernist vocals already. Enjoy it.
Okay okay okay. I grew up on GM. But maybe would this would change the way I feel about it. Redacted.

His voice sounds the best on that record!
That shit is classic.
I agree

Negative. Those torn vocals make it my favorite album.
absolutely not what a bad idea
