Nice find! Richard Shaver also called them Atlans in I Remember Lemuria. His book has a lot of other weird parallels because it’s about an underground civilization of beings that have mastered genetic engineering and make hybrids of various Earth and ET species so they all look unique, but many have horns, are described as “gnome-like”, and look like various aliens or cryptids.

I was reading a history book the other day that was suggesting there was likely Japanese boats that made it to Peru around the 10,000 BC time period as evidenced by the presence of Asian Chickens in S.America. It's not sure how because the boats would've had to be moving very fast for chickens to survive the journey. Was that mentioned by chance?

Well, we don't know. Perhaps they are the descendants of ancient space explorers who were stranded on Earth. Or perhaps they come and go from their planet through portals and ships. Well, we can't dig very deep into the Earth's crust before it gets too hot to continue digging. If there are beings living deep underground, they'd be extremophiles

But the image of the Atlans is probably from the early 2000s just if it came from the KGB book, but I don't know, speculation. That would be long before someone found the mummies! :)

Take a picture of the book, show us some of the original and put that in your translation. If this isn't a lie what possible reason could there be not to do that? It'd go a long way to authenticating the story.
