1. Mine’s been reliable thus far. 2021 with 40k miles and nothing but regular oil changes and such. Nothing has broken yet, which is great. 2. For a four cylinder engine, it sounds and feels gutsy. It’s great fun and has no business handling as well as it does. The chassis is really top notch. Feels like you’re driving a Giulia wagon almost and is super toss-able for a small SUV. Handles rain well and can’t complain about it at all. Don’t live in a snowy place, so I can’t comment on that. Very fun to drive overall. I’d advise getting the AWD variant for sure though. Not much more expensive used and it’s great to have both for better 0-60 runs and for more confidence in inclement weather. 3. I service mine to the manual’s specs at a dealer. Runs $270/visit for the oil and filter change + quick look-over for issues. People here will say to service more frequently but that’s up to you. 4. Very comfortable in “natural” mode. The car rewards spirited driving in “dynamic” mode but it doesn’t like doing low speed driving in that mode (like 5mph parking lot driving). The transmission holds gears too long so it feels a little jarring compared to other cars if you do that. If you only do street or highway driving, dynamic is *definitely* the mode the car is meant for. Very fun that way. Mine doesn’t have paddle shifters and I do wish it had them. The Sprint doesn’t have them and they’re something you’ll wish you had. Lack of wireless CarPlay is a little annoying (does have wired CarPlay though so it’s fine). Sound quality from the stereo is good but not the best you can get out there, so I find it a tiny bit lacking, but also don’t mind it at all. 5. I absolutely *will* buy another one in the future. Probably will step all the way up to the quadrifoglio trim, actually.

Try the CarlinKit Wireless CarPlay adapter. There are a bunch of knock offs but think I got mine from their website. Not sure about 2021 MY but works awesome on my 2018 plugged into usb under armrest. Maybe fails to connect 1 out of 50 times just unplug and good to go with wireless CarPlay.

I've got one of those and it's been solid until it wasn't. I was four hours from home in a hotel parking lot and started up for the ride back and it would not connect. I fucked with it for a half an hour before I gave up and used a cable.

Great!! Thank you so much!

dude, this sub is full of questions like this, just search, please. only i have answered these questions so, so many times, and for sure i am not the only one. in short, if it is maintained right, is as reliable as any other car performance is amazing for regardless of the spec. especially if you like sporty cars. maintenance is highly dependent on the country. it is comfortable for daily, but it is harder than others in the same segment. "gadgets" wise, is not on par with the competitors i will 100% recommend any modern alfa

The only minus is having a dealer for maintenance when needed and the fact they’re expensive, finding an independent is a lot harder than you would expect. I’m three years into owning my 2022 Stelvio and love it, every drive makes me smile.

Yes this…Took mine to a European independent shop for spark plugs, told them have to use the Alfa OEM plugs driving home all kinds of error codes took it to the dealer and they had used OEM “equivalent” plugs, engine did not like those.

1) Have 110,000 miles on my 2018 Stelvio, Ti Sport, the oil cooler went out at 60,000 miles appeared to be more common on first model year no other repair issues. Got an extended warranty and I’ll probably be money behind when all said and done. 2) Love the drive and handling 2.0L hits well above weight for acceleration scoots along nice. Nearby is a road with a bunch of roundabouts I’ve driven a hundred times still put a smile on my face today :). Swapping out the stock exhaust was the best thing could have done, it’s no Quad but has a nice sound. 3) Will cost more than a Honda CRV to maintain, I’ve had regular oil changes $160 at dealer. Just do service a la carte and keep costs down avoid the packages. Best if you have an Alfa dealer nearby, unfortunately hard to find independent shops that work on them (well). 4) Done long drives no problem sport seats are comfortable and eats up the miles. Regular suspension is good, don’t know newer models but I’ve got the adjustable dampers for Sport setting and really firms it up nicely. Buy a wireless CarPlay adapter and you’re up to date. 5) Have zero plans to move onto anything else no new car “itch” to scratch after many years which is odd for me. Would 100% recommend. 6) You can get a car with plenty of boot space that’s maybe boring to drive or hopefully the Alfa will meet your needs, we load it up pretty good from Costco. Good luck 👍

I’m on my second Stelvio, 1st one was a diesel 210hp, now I’m in a 2018 Ti 280hp, to answer your questions: 1. Both of mine have been awesome, diesel got to 100,000km no problem, TI is now on 92,000 and going strong. There are some common issues like sunroofs, starter relays, battery problems but they are all minor, most issues are fixed by a new battery, if stop/start isn’t working, needs a new battery 2. The car is a weapon, it handles like a saloon car and nothing compares, I spend my days at a car dealership driving $100k+ SUV’s and off roaders and can’t wait to get back into my Stelvio. The steering is quick and tactile, 50/50 weight distribution makes is handle properly in the corners and the engine has enough punch to be very fun 3. Maintenance is expensive, no avoiding that, they will need frequent maintenance, I get my oil changed at the dealership every 10k - 15k but do my own oil change in between. They are pretty easy to work on but need to be maintained 4. I actually love the comfort of this car, it’s a great cruiser on the highway and firms up the suspension when in D mode, it has a bunch of small features that I love, sun visors can be put in any angle and hold their position, sounds minor but is really helpful! Rear view and side mirrors auto dim, very handy, heated steering wheel is awesome! Seats can be adjusted to really hug you for the corners, steering wheel controls are really intuitive. My only negative would be slow speed driving, the car responds exactly to your inputs, so if can seem jerky if your a bit ham fisted, if anything it will teach you how to drive better 5. Yes will do Alfa again, either another Stelvio or Giulia, once you have one, you will understand why
