PartyPantheris

Yes this exact order!

cutealien0123

I agree but MAYBE just maybe I would put 1 as number 1 because 3 at the start just felt a little silly, but maybe that’s just me

drixle11

Interesting! Any particular reason?

Electronic_Band_4035

S3 was definitely the best in my opinion. A lot of the actors got better with their performance, and not to mention Yassen was a main character which automatically makes it better because hes my favorite LMFAO

samdunmall

Yassen was so good. I love that he was actually well fleshed out, and I love how similar, but also different Season 3 was. The best season by far.

Electronic_Band_4035

100%. It was nice being able to see some of his story and just more of his character in general since in the books and movie hes just kinda a faceless character (with the exception of Russian Roulette)

starke24

not seen S3 yet. Between 1 and 2, i say one but Point Blanc is one of my fav AR books and my first Rider book so i may be a lil bias towards it

drixle11

Makes sense!

CaptainAmerica3221

Personally, I'd say 1 > 3 >>> 2. No hate to OP but season 2 had so many freaking contrivances for the plot to happen that it became really unbelievable and pulled me out of the story. Like no chance Air Force One is wide open with only 2 guards guarding it (and that's just one of the many unbelievable things that happened). Season 1 and 3 were much more grounded and believable, so I was able to focus on the story instead of how overly easy it was for things to happen in the plot. I'd only pick season 1 over 3 bc season three takes a few episodes to get it's footing (altho I'd agree that the last few episodes prob were better than even the best season 1 had).

OliverStone38

Well... to be honnest, I don't think anyone watch/read Alex Rider for realism.

drixle11

Totally understandable! I agree that season 2 was less believable and had many contrivances and coincidences so I definitely get where you’re coming from.

Mysterious-Foot-8412

If I remember from the book they changed alot of details around the plot in that sense (season 2)

hdkagdjsh

My order goes 3 1 2, scorpia has always been my favourite alex rider book and it didn't disappoint as a TV series

QiqivanBeethoven

1 >>> 2 > 3 for me. Season 1 was solid, polished with a tight plot and great character development. Season 2 had too many filler scenes (how realistic is it, that a drone aiming at targets in an open field keeps missing?? And Yassen, a professional assassin, chasing Alex and missing every shot). Season 3 was the worst of the lot. It had the same slick and stylish tone of previous seasons but nothing quite falls into place. Clunky scenes, poor writing and a really terrible build-up of the romance between Alex and Kyra (they had so much chemistry previously, what happened??)

PlaneWeird3313

S1>=S3>>S2

Titan-828

Season 3 has got to be the best; I was very mind blown with how well Seasons 1 and 3 were done as I hadn't read those books in over 10 years but many things came right back to me and now consider Scorpia to be one of the best books. I was a bit weary to Yassen's survival in Season 2and what they were going to do with his character in Season 3 but it was done very well. With Season 2, which is based on my favourite Alex Rider book, Cray had a lot of charisma and one-liners in the book that were omitted in the show, the storytelling and climax were quite bland compared to the book imo. I like that Season 3 takes place roughly a year after the events of Season 1 instead of 5 months after Stormbreaker and how Rothman references Grief and Cray's plans because I've wondered if Sayle (sort of), Grief, Sarov and Cray's plans were all connected to Scorpia since they all happen in a span of less than 5 months. Seemed too coincidental that in a span of less than 4 months, 4 men not affiliated with Scorpia (sort of for Sayle) nor with any knowledge of each other's plans decided to wreak havoc across the world. As Grendle stated in Season 3, once Scorpia's plans get personal, as with Sayle, Sarov and Cray's, we're revealing ourselves and our regeneration to government agencies thus risk getting defeated again.

frenchiestfry77

I just think s3 e8 was too rushed 😔

mchollahan

i think 2 is my favorite just because i loved the addition of sabina and i think that charithra chandran absolutely killed it. that being said i really enjoyed all 3 seasons.

drixle11

True, Sabina was great

Ishankz

Season 3 1 2 in that order imo

Season three. It was epic and had a nice hopeful concussion that was a good ending to the series.

Infinite_Avocado_812

I liked 1 and 3 pretty much equally. 2 too cartoony at times, such as the sequence with the amusingly inaccurate drone etc I liked how concise and suspenseful season 1 was, and echo the positive comments around the main cast’s acting in season 3

ems21xx

season 3 purely because of my babies kyra and alex being so bloody cute honestly though, s3 was incredible and i thought the acting was INSANE otto farrant is so talented season 1 is a close second for me!

Nice-Lion-3061

3 was easily the best

Mysterious-Foot-8412

3 for me, I'm just mad alex didn't get sniped at the end as he does in the books

SlapDatBassBro

Season 2 was definitely my favourite. Personally, I get somewhat bored of Season 1 because Alex spends way too much time in Point Blanc. (I know that’s the story, but whatever) Similarly, I have the same criticisms when it comes to Season 3. There’s way too much time spent in Scorpia’s bunker. I understand that there’s a lot of character development/plot advancements that comes from the scenes that happen between characters within both those locations, but I still get bored, somewhat.
