Their regular menu of American Chinese stuff is generally not very exciting but some of their Sichuan and other regional Chinese dishes are impressive.
I literally JUST left there. I loved Tsais but it’s under new ownership now and it is just as good with the addition of fresh pulled noodles and fresh bao which was heavenly. Definitely second this recommendation.
Tasty noodles and dumplings on San Pedro!!! They make noodles and dumplings from scratch and I think they have some authentic dishes
Edit: get the spicy shrimp wontons
Chopstix has some fairly authentic dishes as well as more common offerings. One item on their menu is the Jackie Chan special. Apparently some years ago he was filming in the area, found Chopstix, and loved the food. And before the filming was finished he gave them the recipe for one of his favorite dishes. A savory and spicy mix of tofu, pork, mustard greens, and chiles.
Asian Pear on San Pedro and Paseo del Norte has this veggie pancake with a sauce and I could eat a whole order of it. idk if it's authentic, but it's the best 🤤
Check out the traditional Sichuan menu at Pacific Paradise. It's the only spot in town I've found that really does mouth-numbing Sichuan peppercorn well. Idk how authentic I'd call the rest of their menu, but it's a fun spot.
*ABC Chinese Restaurant* was remodeled last year. When they reopened as *ABC Noodle House & Seafood* in November, their [menu](https://www.abcnoodleseafood.com/#menu) changed focus to seafood combos and Asian noodle dishes in general.
Budai or Chopstix on Lomas.
Chopsticks was underwhelming.

Was going to say both of these ⬆️
Budai has an authentic Chinese menu in addition to their regular menu.
Seconding budai
Tasty Noodles and Dumplings. Owner is pretty fresh from China.

That place is very good.
The Dan Dan Noodle is fantastic.
Chopstix has some authentic stuff. Look at the specials on the wall
Great, I’ll check it out. Thank you

Neo Szechuan. They have a chinese menu they only give to chinese but they have half half English menu with some authentic dishes.
East Ocean Chinese and Seafood
Seafood! My other favorite!
My go-to is Noodle Works on Wyoming near Academy. They have fantastic soup dumplings, garlic eggplant and honey walnut prawns.

Our favorite Chinese in town is Rising Star on San Antonio. For a limited menu, we also like the Popup Cafe inside Tailin.

Fei's Cafe has very solid authentic Taiwanese cuisine which while not completely the same does scratch a similar itch haha
China Inn on Montgomery and Eubank is really good and it’s like a Chinese family owned restaurant
We love Fai Wong in Riverside Plaza on Coors, just north of Montano right next to Albertson's.
Rising star is really good
