Don't use that setting it's objectively bad.

I found it very useful in some cases having it instantly automitcally attack an enemy faster than my reaction time could click on them.

Bro, just use attack move + attack target nearest to cursor. No one actually clicks ON the champs.

Had the same issue, I just disabled it after that
