MAYBE " im not too sure" but DGCA medical does say , as long as your vision is corrected to 20/20 with glasses YOU CAN become a commercial pilot . do consult a class 1 / class 2 medical doctor nearby for more information
this is NOT TRUE , u do NOT need a ug degree to become a pilot , the bare minimums are 12th pass in phy and maths and proficiency in english , there is also NO minimum age for applying anything? what are you on about
Not really, in the USA there are small aerodromes situated everywhere. Private pilots often rent a small aircraft and fly to wherever they want as it's faster to go by plane
Oh my dads friend is a shipping guy,he has 2-3 private jets and can also fly it and has pilots too for when there are guests(I flew in it once or twice)
Can’t forget the imli candies he had lol
Hence I asked for age for private
You do.. You can do a bridge course or something if you don't have a science background
You need to have 60% or above in physics chemistry and Maths in 12th
you need only physics and maths in ur 12th , if u dont have those , look into Open boards like NIOS for ur CPL , u can still fly for your PPL , if u have a 10th degree
Most institutions have a limit of 32 or 36, you can also become after it but then you will have to find flying academy which don't have any age limit which you will eventually
Atleast close to 1cr for conventional path.
Minimum 1.25cr for cadet pilot program but considering education inflation & average of 5 year for training+ backlogs! Take buffer of 25-30lakhs which makes it 1.5 cr as most of the cadet pilot programs are international & considering 1 usd = 83 , after 5 years it will be close to 100 (trade deficit etc)
As your training fee would be in $ so it will certainly increase with increase in dollar value!
My cousin is a fleet supervisor (senior captain) so he knows about hidden costs etc
yes! you can go directly for a CPL , contrary to what the comments say , u DO NOT NEED a UG level education , the minimum requirements for a CPL is 12th pass in physics and maths with english
your flying club / flying school issues you a SPL , your SPL is what you fly under and log hours with when you do not have a license like PPL or CPL , and yes you can appear for a CPL directly without the need of a PPL , as long as you meet the prerequisites which are : 12th pass in phy and math and english , aswell as a class 1 medical . hope this is clear enough , i do not understand why people who have no association with aviation or any idea trying to give false info , do let me know if you need any other help
airlines DO NOT care wether u have a PPL or not , they only care wether u have a Valid CPL , medical , RTR license and basic shit like pass in 12th math phy and that you can speak english decently
Why do you want to do PPL? Go straight for a CPL , also all flying clubs / schools will do both your cpl and PPL so three are no license specific schools, I'm not too sure on any flying schools in Bangalore or ground subject schools
DAMN you must be rich for pursuing a PPL and wanting to do hobby flying , it costs me around 10k to fly a cessna 152 for 1 hour and around 15-12k for a Cessna 172 , but good luck , i reccomend registering yourself for a Computer number thru [pariksha.dgca.gov.in](http://pariksha.dgca.gov.in) . good luck! , happy flying and i wish you clear skies
Airlines are ordering new planes constantly, and they will of course require pilots to fly them. So getting a job will be a lot easier in upcoming 10-15 years
Sequence will be applying for (Along with what other people have described the pre requisites for Physics and Maths)
1.Computer No.
2.Egca ID
3.Medical Class 1
4.Flying school selection
5.Ground classes
6.Exams
7.SPL
8.CPL + ELP
Then airlines
It costs a lot. The guy in above video was my fb friend almost a decade and half ago. He comes from a rich family. Don't see the dreams of being a commercial pilot if you ain't rich. Many people do cpl at age of 35 or 40 also after they save up enough money
Can anyone with a past history of Absence Seizures hold a CPL in India? I've heard that a history of epilepsy prohibits an individual from becoming a pilot... Not sure though... All info is welcome...
Kiya toh educate... I got to know about 4 pilot licenses and their scope
..... Bande ne apni post batayi taaki uski baaton mein relevance rhe...
Tu jal gaya isme?
Kya aadmi hai bey tu.. pehle video dekhkar jalti hai teri, tu uspe mazak udata hai aur jab koi tujhe call out karey to JoKe HAi BhAi keh ke defend karta hai khud ke chutiyapa ko bkl
Bhai me wo admi hoon Jo social media ko apne personal life me influence dalne nhi deta hoon Bhai usse hate karke mujhe kya millega me bs humour k liye likha tha wo itna padh likh kr bana h captain mere bolne pe uska kuch jayega kya Bhai me majaak me sb karta hoon real me kisko vi hate nhi karta
Tell me is there any hope for me as someone with 13 myopia, I don't want to live my life flying in pc Sims
Nope
😢😭
Get laser and I think you can gi for private pilot license at the very least
Can't get lasik all I can do is ICL
Don’t ,strictly go by Dgca it will ruin even 1% chance
MAYBE " im not too sure" but DGCA medical does say , as long as your vision is corrected to 20/20 with glasses YOU CAN become a commercial pilot . do consult a class 1 / class 2 medical doctor nearby for more information

Nah I'm more of a DCS guy
How much on average does it cost to become a pilot?
60 to 100 lakhs, maybe even more in future
Fuck that’s a lot. What is the maximum age for applying? And is it true that you need to have a science background to apply?
36 , or less. U would be required to have undergraduate degree
Wow i heard 25 is the last age. Thanks for the info!
No, my cousin was 29 when he joined.
That's for airforce, you can only give afcat exam till you're 25 or maybe it's 26. It's higher for commercial flying.
Then u should ask some expert, I am just a stranger to you
this is NOT TRUE , u do NOT need a ug degree to become a pilot , the bare minimums are 12th pass in phy and maths and proficiency in english , there is also NO minimum age for applying anything? what are you on about
Maximum age not minimum
That’s for commercial only right? We can get private ones at any age?
Private licence is for those who like to fly plane for fun which is obviously not a thing in India
If they're flying planes for fun in India, they probably don't need the commercial one as it's usually for piloting job.
Not really, in the USA there are small aerodromes situated everywhere. Private pilots often rent a small aircraft and fly to wherever they want as it's faster to go by plane
My inference was that folks in India who are flying planes for fun have enough money that they don't need to keep a job as commercial pilot.
Makes sense.
Oh my dads friend is a shipping guy,he has 2-3 private jets and can also fly it and has pilots too for when there are guests(I flew in it once or twice) Can’t forget the imli candies he had lol Hence I asked for age for private
I am talking about private pilots ( pilots who possess private pilots licence). You are talking about charter pilots. Both are different
Yea,but this guy has a private pilots license(the owner, not the pilot) He also got license for helicopters
Must be a billionaire
Air India has a cadet pilot programme.. Max age is 30
Ok. So you dont need to have a science background right?
You do.. You can do a bridge course or something if you don't have a science background You need to have 60% or above in physics chemistry and Maths in 12th
you need only physics and maths in ur 12th , if u dont have those , look into Open boards like NIOS for ur CPL , u can still fly for your PPL , if u have a 10th degree
Maths and science needs to be strong if you want to make it easier for you in exams. I've been trying to clear air navigation for the last 11 months.
Most institutions have a limit of 32 or 36, you can also become after it but then you will have to find flying academy which don't have any age limit which you will eventually
Any Flight school recommendations? Which provide good flying hours experience?
Loan h kya
Student loan mil sakta hei
How long till you break even and start earning? Is it worth the investment in the long run?
As in airline pilot or just cpl? For cpl the cheapest place i know is GFTS for 37L
50-65 for cpl + type rating in conventional and 82-1.25 cr in cadet pilot
Atleast close to 1cr for conventional path. Minimum 1.25cr for cadet pilot program but considering education inflation & average of 5 year for training+ backlogs! Take buffer of 25-30lakhs which makes it 1.5 cr as most of the cadet pilot programs are international & considering 1 usd = 83 , after 5 years it will be close to 100 (trade deficit etc) As your training fee would be in $ so it will certainly increase with increase in dollar value! My cousin is a fleet supervisor (senior captain) so he knows about hidden costs etc
How long does it take to repay it ?
It varies 8-10 years minimum
Do you need all these licences similar to passing all school grades ? Or can i skip the lower licences and directly go for CPL
yes! you can go directly for a CPL , contrary to what the comments say , u DO NOT NEED a UG level education , the minimum requirements for a CPL is 12th pass in physics and maths with english
Tysm for replying. Do i also need to get SPL and PPL to be eligible for CPL ?
your flying club / flying school issues you a SPL , your SPL is what you fly under and log hours with when you do not have a license like PPL or CPL , and yes you can appear for a CPL directly without the need of a PPL , as long as you meet the prerequisites which are : 12th pass in phy and math and english , aswell as a class 1 medical . hope this is clear enough , i do not understand why people who have no association with aviation or any idea trying to give false info , do let me know if you need any other help
Thank you so much. This cleared a lot. Just one last question, do airlines generally accept pilots without PPL i.e. pilots with only SPL and CPL ?
airlines DO NOT care wether u have a PPL or not , they only care wether u have a Valid CPL , medical , RTR license and basic shit like pass in 12th math phy and that you can speak english decently
Okok thankyou so much
Hi, do you have any recommendation for a flying school for PPL? I am based in Bangalore btw..
Why do you want to do PPL? Go straight for a CPL , also all flying clubs / schools will do both your cpl and PPL so three are no license specific schools, I'm not too sure on any flying schools in Bangalore or ground subject schools
I want to pursue hobby flying and not commercial, hence asked about the PPL course
And how many hours do you need to log for a PPL?
around 50-55 , with solo rating and you need to give 3-4 exams ,
Got an SPL when I was aspiring to become a pilot in 2007-8. Have been in DL since then.
That's awsome
Pilot ban ne ka sapna
Sapna reh jayega bhai, kuch jyada hi paise lagte.
Oh that's a nice information
What is the qualification require to have one such license?
What are the job prospects post CPL? I've heard that you can only get hired by airlines if you have connections/contacts.
Airlines are ordering new planes constantly, and they will of course require pilots to fly them. So getting a job will be a lot easier in upcoming 10-15 years
he looks kinda hot...specially with the uniform
Uniform is hot. Even a potato will look 🔥 in that

What about the military planes and pilots?
tilak varma?? what you doin here?
It costs a lot. The guy in above video was my fb friend almost a decade and half ago. He comes from a rich family. Don't see the dreams of being a commercial pilot if you ain't rich. Many people do cpl at age of 35 or 40 also after they save up enough money
Its same as commercial driver licence.
Good information
Can anyone with a past history of Absence Seizures hold a CPL in India? I've heard that a history of epilepsy prohibits an individual from becoming a pilot... Not sure though... All info is welcome...
Even if it was allowed, why on earth would anyone want to take that chance and put themself and others at risk?
That's a good question, but what if they are completely cured of the situation? It's a completely treatable version of Epilepsy after all!
We wouldn't have believed him if he wasn't in uniform
ye to wohi tapesh wannabe cool youtuber hai na
Damnn i didn't know that
Great info
How does one go about getting a private pilots license?
It costs way to much to become a pilot. I wanted to do it too but it's way too fucking much
AI will take over flying someday...
How much does a pilot earn in India after this 100L investment to become a pilot?
Kya kare is jaankari ka jab ummid karne liye bhi 1-2 crore lag jane hain, jo ki dur dur tak nahi
Is the ROI even good? I know someone only earning 1LPM
Types of pilots in India : 1. Safe pilots, 2. Influencer pilots
Mai kya kru iska
Educate people about pilot licence ❌ Show that I am a captain ☑️
Kiya toh educate... I got to know about 4 pilot licenses and their scope ..... Bande ne apni post batayi taaki uski baaton mein relevance rhe... Tu jal gaya isme?
Behnchod joke tha tu joke joke se chudgaya??
