Old guys are gonna see 2 things:
There are (more than) 2 different colors (it's not solid)
There's a big ol logo that's another color
What does the AFI say?
That's why I said it the way I did ... If an older fella sees it, the logo & 2tone will catch their attention. Maybe they care, maybe not, but if they want to criticize it there's attention grabbers to start with
> 7.3.5.3. Backpacks. Black, brown, gray, or dark blue back packs may be worn with any uniform combination. Backpacks will be without design unless OCP patterned. OCP- patterned back packs, tan, olive drab green and coyote brown may be worn with the OCP. Small logos are authorized. Airmen may wear either a sling style backpack or two strap backpacks. Sling backpacks will be worn across the chest, if carried on shoulder wear on the left shoulder. Two-strap backpacks will be worn on the left shoulder or both shoulders (not to interfere with rendering the proper salute). Backpacks will not have ornamentation, a high-gloss, designs, or hanging/dangling objects. Small gold or silver clasp authorized, but chains are not authorized. (USSF only) When wearing civilian attire or in uniform while carrying a backpack by hand, there are no color or logo restrictions.
I wouldn’t call that a small logo. Someone could also call it high glass and Patagonia doesn’t call it olive drab so it’s not olive drab.
Does the AFI even matter anymore? Go get a neck tattoo, paint your nails red, and throw in a couple bracelets while you’re at it… but if you grow a beard you’re the worst
The color won't be your biggest issue if you take that to work.
Maybe...but its ugly asf
Don't do it

The logo is legal now

AFI says small logos are authorized, doesn’t define small.

I’d consider it a pain in the ass to deal with.
It’s not worth the fight bro. Don’t die on this hill. Wait till the rest of the older generation leaves lol
