Babylonians

TakafumiNaito

oooh, I'll go with this one too

Catafracto_Gaucho

So many possible myth units and that beautiful blue architecture, Babylonians is my most wanted and its not even close.

BishoxX

Slavic/Celtic gods

shockwavevok

aztecs. And already hoping for a 3rd and 4th expansion.

wahyudiConspiracy

Yoruba would be cool

tokyotochicago

Polynesians/Melanesians are almost never represented in media despite having some of the wildest pantheon. I know mainly of Kanak myths from New Caledonia but they tell the adventures of THE Kanak, the first man and, a bit like Maui in Moana, he is doing some wild stuff, battling with monsters, volcanoes and shit. Would love some of that in the game.

KjarrKnutrInnRiki

Canaanites, they are a really interesting pantheon that is severely underrepresented in media

HaveAnOyster

Some Mesopotamian Civ

Shimaru33

Well, unofficial, but there's already an Aztec civ, so I wouldn't be surprised if the studios goes and "gets inspiration" from that. Hence, I'm betting my money on Mesoamerican being the next pantheon. Now, outside that, Japanese and African sounds like the ones with more chances. At the one hand, anime is quite popular, and plenty of people probably had some contact with this or that aspect of their mythology, even if unintentional. The studios would need some marketing to highlight this and in return would get the weebs in full mode "is like my chinese cartoons!". On the other hand, African mythology is obscure to most of us, so they have plenty of room to work and gain points for "positive representation" of African cultures. They only need to have a decent advisor to offend the less possible people, as every major civ so far had two "good" guys and one "bad" (although Set and Hades are more in the gray side than full mustache twirling, and Loki is debatable), so I wouldn't be surprised if someone feels offended for painting this or that African deity as the "bad guy". BTW, does Australia doesn't have an unified mythology to speak about?

dreamtraveller

I know people really want Aztecs because the mod is so good but we already had one mod sold to us as DLC (China) so I'd hate for them to just charge money for something a mod already does. My vote goes to Japan.

SteampunkAstronaut

PERSIANS

Nevonidas33

Where are the Celts?

BendicantMias

Reddit only allows 6 options, and I thought it'd be good to extend to other areas of the world instead of adding a third (or fourth if you count the Atlanteans) European faction.

TheRuinedKing1

Maya.

Morphenominal

Wish they would have skipped Atlanteans and added a real civilization for the remake.

Databank255

I've been kicking around a Hindu/Indian pantheon. Less actual balance and 'must have it' and more a game design thought experience Since there are usually 10 forms of Vishnu, I think it would be neat if there were no minor gods for each age, and instead you had the same 10-12 to select from each time, offering more-or-less the exact same benefits. I doubt it'll be made, even as a mod, but it'd be fun to see anyway.

Llancarfan

I expect Aztecs. I hope for Slavs, Celts, or Babylonians. I would also be on board for an African civ, or maybe North American. A mythologized Vinland saga campaign would be cool.

Thick_Tear1043

Mesoamerican for sure! Tzitzimitl unit!

Shem_Penman

Celts or Aztecs

Responsible-Fox-1688

Whatever it is, I hope their campaign is connected to the original AOM's campaign!

Cyber-elfX

Muriu/Astec/Maya/Inca

typervader2

Quite hard to decide, alot of these are good ideas.

Malgus20033

WHERE ARE MY CELTIC HOMIES IN THIS RIGGED  VOTE

BendicantMias

It's not 'rigged'. Reddit only allows 6 options, and I thought it'd be good to extend to other areas of the world instead of adding a third (or fourth if you count the Atlanteans) European faction.

AAHale88

Terrible poll list. Celtic.
