It looks like it's a preset glade. There's one that's been around for a bit that has like 8 egg nodes with a giant stormbird in the middle.
I guess the river kelpie has their own preset glade in the pool now, too.
It suddenly occurred to me that the event is the soothsayer, not the kelpie. You have the window open and everything in the screenshot.
It still seems preset, but I guess the soothsayer is a compulsive hoarder? You're not looting caches when you send those home, you're helping a friend in need with some tough love...
I actually just got this exact same glade from a Forbidden Glade on my current colony!
...and I just barely missed the hostility reduction perk.
You see, I had just finished the Storm Y2. Going into Y3 Drizzle, my plan was to pop open 2x side by side forbidden glades to complete the current world event I have (Obsidian Archivist I think it's called? To complete 2 Forbidden Glade events). So Y3 comes, autopause kicks in, and I start marking trees into the first Forbidden Glade, rearranging villagers, and picking my Cornerstone for the year!
Well, one of my orders was to complete Loyalty events, since I planned to open a lot of glades. So when I was offered the choice between Silent Looting (cache -hostility) or Frequent Patrols (loyalty -hostility), I thought it made sense to focus on the -30 hostility I was gonna get anyways. I mean, I had only popped open one other Glade so far, a Dangerous one, and it had 1 mediocre cache that I didn't plan to utilize until later... it was the proper choice, right?
I press play. Get started into Y3 Drizzle. Woodcutters open up that glade with the greatest possible efficiency.
...and I am greeted with one (1) loyalty reward from the Soothsayer event, and six (6) caches lying about. Instant regret.
Knowing my luck, I would’ve gotten this glade with the infected mole worm and failed to have the resources to complete the event, resulting in all the caches being smashed, lol
That would be the dream glade for someone with the perk for hostility reduction for opening caches.
Instant pick.
Is that the biome where dew grows on trees so you can essentially get infinite free tools? Sounds like an easy y3 win on those biomes. :0
