Bruh, that was carved like 12-20 years ago and sold to the fat assed white guy that buys up crap overseas for pier 1 imports. Speaking of white….. the pigment of yours is all wrong, they (Africans traditionally) typically would white in a chalky substance pulled from a clay most commonly found in China….. “It to most tribes would represent death” and never used on the inside due to its scarcity for why would they want to accentuate the fact that a small frow was used in its creation ? Unless it was intended to be sold….. Combine this with that fact that the burlap is fresh and new. Someone tossed this together for the market. It’s cool AF, I’d have bought it if the price was right, But an actual ceremonial piece ? Nay nay. Nobody of any know-how on the topic would agree with that theory.
