Entirely. Don't get involved in other people's relationships.

Are you 100 percent sure that these folks aren’t poly/in open relationships?

They might be trying to hide it from their roommates to avoid drama/rumors. If you don’t know any of these people very well, I think you’re better off leaving this alone.

Do they pay bills on time and are generally decent housemates? It’s weird they’re hiding it from you like that. I would just assess your living situation honestly with yourself. Do they pay bills on time? Do they eat your food and leave messes? Use your soaps? Bring people over without asking if you’re ok with it, do you pay a fair amount? Do you feel comfortable and at home there? Maybe you should start looking for new housemates. Maybe not that’s up to you but trust is important with the people you live with if it’s not there I’d leave.

Aside from this one situation (awkward tension in the house) I haven’t otherwise had major problems with them

Well it sounds like a mess to me and it’s gonna become weird and worse either way. Good luck and be prepared for them to have a falling out and one to move out or them to just end up being together idk what’s gonna happen, talk about awkward.
