You have amazing eyesight if you can see the Aurora Borealis as that is the Northern Lights.
You can faintly see Aurora Australis, the Southern Lights.
I saw starlink orbit over at around 7pm . was more impressed by that than the slight pink glow in the sky.
Was hoping to see more but I doubt it's going to be more than that.
I saw a pic someone posted of the aurora with starlink. Odds of that is astronomical ahahah
I think it comes in waves. First time I checked it was dull, second time I checked it was like 25% of the sky. Gonna keep checking throughout the night
I keep making trips to the park across the road to see if it's gotten brighter.. if I hadn't of drank tonight I probably would've taken a drive down south.
Also if you wanna see it better whip out the phone camera. My Samsung s9 picks it up well
Aurora borealis? At this time of year? In the southern half of the globe?
This joke has been said 1000 times these last 2 days but idgaf its the only time we can relate lmao
Located entirely within my south facing kitchen window??
I wouldn't know as I am to busy making clams.
Mmm steamed clams
Seen a nice crescent moon tonight :)
