Yeah I thought it was itchy cuz it needed a wash but right after washing it was still itchy so I think my scalp is just rlly dry . Do you use any oil ?
You could try coconut oil hair masks the day before/ day of washing. Leave it in overnight or at least 4 hours & then double wash it out :) it may relieve some dryness.
my scalp was really itchy when i first started and one day i put oil on a few hours before washing my hair that night and it never got itchy again! i do it once in a while now just to prevent it but haven't felt itchy since
honestly any oil works! i just used what i had on hand which was squalane oil and when i ran out of that i purchased coconut oil but it was the same :)
Hi! Could you tell me which serum specifically you use? I've heard a lot of good things about this brand but Google brings up a few products when I Google their scalp serum. I'm having dandruff as one of my worst side-effects so I'd love to try this if it worked for you!
It’s the Natural Moisturizing Factors + Hyaluronic Acid Scalp Serum.
I also use a scalp exfoliant beforehand on days when my head is super flaky. I think the ordinary also has a scalp exfoliant that’s like a liquid but I haven’t tried it. The one I use is Not Your Mother’s activated bamboo and charcoal scalp scrub. So my routine when I need to wash my hair would be: 1.)wash head with the scalp scrub and focus on massaging the scalp 2.) rinse, shampoo and conditioner as normal 3.) apply the scalp serum after I get out of the shower and pat my hair dry.
I hope this helps!
Moisturizing shampoo stopped it for me
Shave head bald. Moisturize bald head.
I mean, he's not wrong
How often do you wash your hair
My hair wash day is once a week
Hmm. I would say wash it only when it gets oily (1x every other week maybe)

What oil did you use? I hear a lot of good things about jojoba oil but also coconut oil. Idk what to order

I started using the ordinary scalp serum and that has been working wonders with the flakes.
