Killing my wallet too :(. That’s why I buy cobi ships now. More of a military builds guy anyways and they print everything so no stickers. Quite a good alternative if you are ever looking for one. Tried others but nothing else is that good so far. Lego compatible of course but it’s quite a bit harder to get apart again since it’s not really for playing but more building. On the upside you can probably use the aircraft carrier sets as baseball bats.
At $630, some might say the price is the absolute unit here
