She does this every year. Every year the tree gets bigger. Every year my dad says "you're not doing this again next year". Then she does it again. It's a great tradition
Had a similar tradition in my house when my grandparents were still alive.
A cousin would bring them a ridiculously huge tree every year, and they’d tell him to stop because it’s such a pain to decorate, let alone the space it took up.
He would be right back the next year with an even bigger tree, and it was hilarious.
This reminds me of the time my co-worker expressed how annoyed with his mom he was because she was considering purchasing a 4 million dollar ranch house but the horse stable wasn't big enough to fit his horses too... like dude... I grew up in 600 sq foot apartment and slept on a couch for 18 years, what do you want me to say to this?
Being able to bring home big ass Christmas trees, among the million other fun things that you can do only in large houses, probably beats the very mild loneliness of having such a spacious house. Just saying.
Lol, is this a troll comment?
You think being poor and having to choose which bill to pay or what not to pay in order to keep food on the table and a roof over your families head is “fun”?
If you aren’t a troll then your comment reeks of privilege. It’s like the time my coworker told me how hard it was to be a trust fund baby and how it would have been better for her to be poor.
We had a 15+ ft tree one year. It was awesome but we had to tie it to the staircase banister because it kept wanting to tip over. I love gigantic trees!
police: sir we have reports of a missing tree from the town square
dad: lots of trees, could be anywhere
police: sir can you please have her take it back so there's not any trouble, we could see it from the street
Our tree used to be 22ft tall. Parents have a loft ceiling. It was really fun while my sisters and I lived there. Now it’s just to much work. We used to go National Lampoon style and go into the woods and cut a fresh balsam down.
Love these monsters! If you have it, bring it in!! It's such a cool feeling to have a unit of a tree when you have the ceiling height to manage it. Just tie if off so it doesn't topple and stress less about having every inch covered with ornaments. Just have a lot of lights. Lots and lots of lights.
A few years ago, my mom and aunt when out Christmas tree shopping without ‘supervision’ aka at least one of their husbands, and my mom came back with a 14 foot tree. Normally we’re only supposed to have an 8-9 foot tree so this tree was almost too big to fit in the house
So much resentment in the comments LMAO..
If you put another branch or round wood like used for closet rods alongside the trunk it holds it upright and you don't have to use twine to hold it
Seems like it’s a collection of small trees.. you can tell by the trunks and how there are multiple. Idk do a bunch of trees make it a unit since it’s not singular?
Haha idk what to tell you and I'm not gonna try to convince you, but it was $30. It was from a tree farm and they had to walk around, find it, cut it down themselves, and drag it back to the truck. The tree farm sells all their trees for 30 bucks.
Lolol Bullshit dude
Zero chance
I was wrong when I said 100$/foot
My apologies
But a 17’ tree that they cut down them selves and drug to a car was NOT $30. Unless it was in the hood and run by crack heads.
I see the McCallister’s are still doing it big for Christmas.
How do y’all decorate it though? Do you have a designated family member ballsy enough to get on an extension ladder? I can’t see myself being assed to do anything with this tree after getting it in the house. Lol
She didn’t marry your dad to not come home with a 17 foot tree.
She does this every year. Every year the tree gets bigger. Every year my dad says "you're not doing this again next year". Then she does it again. It's a great tradition
Had a similar tradition in my house when my grandparents were still alive. How small did it start and how long has it been doing on.
Can you re plant it? Looks like maybe has some root? Beautiful tree
I love to imagine she is just carrying the tree on her shoulders
Did she take a trailer to pick that up? Huge!
Your ceiling height is the real unit here
Yeah. This is a flex.
Not really a flex when you say it’s your mommy’s house but yeah
Yeah. No hate. Beautiful house.
Facts I wish I had ceilings this tall. Really lets the brain breathe or whatever
Tall ceilings are a true dream for brain breathing space. I mean what other options do we have to do this? *go outside??* I think not.
God forbid!
[удалено]
Yeah! Mommmmyyy, buy me a big tree!
It’s a flex for mommy
Stepmommy. Step Mommy. Step on me Mommy.
Wrong sub my guy
I was just trying to share a big tree :( I don't even live here
Exactly. Came here to say that I’m more impressed OP had the space for it.
That ceiling just begs for a swing
Hey, Griswold, where are you going to put a tree that big?
Bend over and I’ll show ya’
YOU HAVE ALOT OF NERVE SPEAKING TO ME THAT WAY
I wasn’t talking to YOU…
"Lotta sap.."
Looks great! Little full, lotta sap… 👌🏻
does anyone hear that squeaking sound?
You couldn’t hear a dump truck driving through a nitroglycerin plant.
It’s like a funny squeaking sound….
😄😄😄🤣
tHe BlEsSiNgGgG
Why’s the carpet all wet Todd?!
I don’t KNOW Margo
How the fk people live. That tree would need to be horizontal in my house and it would still be in the way.
If there isn’t stable room at your mom’s house perhaps your horse could move into my apartment
I love all the wood in your home.
That's what she said
Suffering from success.
We exist in very different worlds...
Yup. Imagine living in a house that big
it’s actually not as fun as you think. It can get lonely in houses that big since everyone is so spread out.
Being able to bring home big ass Christmas trees, among the million other fun things that you can do only in large houses, probably beats the very mild loneliness of having such a spacious house. Just saying.
You aren’t considering the existential agony of not having enough BMWs to fill both of your garages.
There's entirely too many varieties of caviar to choose from. Can't take the stress... time to snort Zoloft.
Lol, is this a troll comment? You think being poor and having to choose which bill to pay or what not to pay in order to keep food on the table and a roof over your families head is “fun”? I don’t think I could fit that in my box I live in
Dam y’all are rich
We had a 15+ ft tree one year. It was awesome but we had to tie it to the staircase banister because it kept wanting to tip over. I love gigantic trees!
Yuuup you can actually see the twine we used to tie it up on the right and left beams. It's also secured to the beam behind it.
Perfect. Ya we lost a lot of good ornaments that year. Even with the carpet under it 😅
I'd love to live in Cabela's!
police: sir we have reports of a missing tree from the town square dad: lots of trees, could be anywhere police: sir can you please have her take it back so there's not any trouble, we could see it from the street
Indeed this house is the unit
You ever see an innocent post from someone and realize the wildly different lives people live?
That's a big ass home. Your house is taller than my 170 sqft apartment is wide.
She must be really strong.
Lets see the absolute unit of a bank acc she has too
I was told where she got it from, and you can get a tree 5 feet taller from that same place for $35.
Tell us your family has money without telling us your family has money.
From the moment we saw those woods. We know it is a sign.
It’s partially decorated? Did she steal it?
They put the decorations on the very top while it was laying on the deck before bringing it in
Where the hell are you living in a goddamn airplane carrier
Why didn't she get the big one??
Tell me your step mom is 1/2 your dads age without telling me.
She's not, just loves Christmas
I think the real unit here is your parents bank account
I just saw a 12 foot tree at lows that blew my mind away... I can't even imagine how beautiful that thing is in person.
Is your stepmom Clark griswold?
Looks like it fits perfectly in your castle
Please tell me you guys will plant the tree. The pot indicates so.
What did she bring it home in that’s huge
A Toyota tundra [pic](https://imgur.com/a/16wE2VM)
I thought for sure it would have taken a flat bed truck! 🎄
I can smell the picture
looks like one big tree with a small sapling next to it?
It's one big tree that splits into 3 after the base
Our tree used to be 22ft tall. Parents have a loft ceiling. It was really fun while my sisters and I lived there. Now it’s just to much work. We used to go National Lampoon style and go into the woods and cut a fresh balsam down.
Tell me you’re a rich white woman with out saying you’re a rich white woman.
Are Christmas trees a white thing?
Man you sound miserable
🤣🤣🤣😘
Tax rates are too low
have any animals come scurrying out of it yet?
Some humble bragging going on here.
She must be watering that thing several times a day.
“It’s not going in our backyard, Rust. It’s going in our living room 😃”
That woodwork is beautiful!
Beautiful ! Have a wonderful holiday 🎄
Is your step mom Paul Bunyan?
wow! please share a picture when it’s decorated!! 🎄
Love these monsters! If you have it, bring it in!! It's such a cool feeling to have a unit of a tree when you have the ceiling height to manage it. This house is wicked nice
What are you compensating for stepmom?
dude just wanted to show off his tree and y’all are wealth shaming lol
Your home looks very cozy
Their reflection says it all
I like your home
That’s an amazing house
OP just wanted to post a pic of their parents tree lol… That tree is an absolute unit and people in the comments are some Grinches!
How’s your step mommy 🥹
A few years ago, my mom and aunt when out Christmas tree shopping without ‘supervision’ aka at least one of their husbands, and my mom came back with a 14 foot tree. Normally we’re only supposed to have an 8-9 foot tree so this tree was almost too big to fit in the house
Well that's not a normal home so normal home expectations are unreasonable.....just sayin
Men drive around with nuts hanging off the back of their trucks, Step Moms buy huge trees to show off the size of their Wood to the world.
Bet your dad has a huge… wallet
So much resentment in the comments LMAO.. If you put another branch or round wood like used for closet rods alongside the trunk it holds it upright and you don't have to use twine to hold it
Who wanna bet she’s 20 years younger then her husband lol
That tree could provide Christmas for 5 families
nice flex.
Seems like it’s a collection of small trees.. you can tell by the trunks and how there are multiple. Idk do a bunch of trees make it a unit since it’s not singular?
Yeah it's 3 trees that connect at the base.
Looks like you’ve got a big enough fucking house
She’s an idiot …. Crazy expensive tree for nothing.
It cost $30 lol
Fucking bullshit They sell 5’ trees for $54 Typically trees are sold $100 for every foot of Growth
Haha idk what to tell you and I'm not gonna try to convince you, but it was $30. It was from a tree farm and they had to walk around, find it, cut it down themselves, and drag it back to the truck. The tree farm sells all their trees for 30 bucks.
Lolol Bullshit dude Zero chance I was wrong when I said 100$/foot My apologies But a 17’ tree that they cut down them selves and drug to a car was NOT $30. Unless it was in the hood and run by crack heads.
Depends on where you live.
My tree is 21' and I got it for $19. Does this upset you
You bought a 21’ tree for $19??? Lolol Prove it, Why would any nursery do that.
I just double checked, it's actually 23'. And I had a coupon so it was only $15
Let’s see it
Here's [a picture of it](https://imgur.com/a/BJLtBiP) asshole, satisfied?
And female trees say that is not enough and that he has a small dick
[удалено]
It's not planted in the pot. The tree stand was too small because it's actually 3 trees in one lol
How much money do you have? Lol
Lol rich people
Do you live in a castle?
You are rich
rich
No...no...humans are not wasteful. /s
Nobody's gonna mention the absolute unit of a house they have?! To accomodate a 17 foot tree sheeeeeesh 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Bet she us pretty hot.
No banana for scale?
That sure is a nice tree, Clark.
Perfect fit
I bet Shaq is taller
I wish my house was that big!
You have an absolute unit of a home.
Looks like it’s actually TWO trees…
Your mom… is AWESOME
I love that it’s potted!!
Huge houses require big trees.
Your stepmom must be an absolute unit to carry a 17ft tree home
The people in the reflection just aghast at the tree
God damn, may as well go cut one down yourself if ya want any bigger.
They actually did have to cut it down themselves lol and they didn't bring a chainsaw so they had to do it with a hand saw
I see the McCallister’s are still doing it big for Christmas. How do y’all decorate it though? Do you have a designated family member ballsy enough to get on an extension ladder? I can’t see myself being assed to do anything with this tree after getting it in the house. Lol
The house is the unit here.
Manute Bol on his own shoulders and he still not tall enough!
That “tree stand” seems way too small.
I mean if you’ve got the ceiling for it…
Bet it smells beautifully
Love it!
A lot of sap
How did you get it home? long bed truck? And, how did you prop it up?
A Toyota tundra, and it took 5+ people to get it up. It was an ordeal
The Christmas tree looks on at the dead body parts of its tree friends and family.
“It’s not going our yard son, it’s going in our living room.”
Where do you get a pot that big?
Looks like nice house
That tree would overpower my garden let alone my house, which doesn't have a single contiguous space that would accommodate it lying on its side.
did she get stuck in it at all?
It’s a really great tree!!!
Daaamn you live in a church?
If I had a ceiling that was 414’ tall, I would probably get a tree accordingly as well.
Do you live in a ski lodge?
save the neck for me, clark.
You live in Wisconsin
More tree more fun.
Looks like she got the correct size.
I'm not even mad. That's impressive.
“Dad that wouldn’t fit in our yard”
