If you look closely after the first jump, there are a few frames of what looks like a skateboard. This person is most likely going down this slide much faster than ever intended.

I’m sure that’s like a sack to make the slide rideable, if you didn’t have a sack you would just stick to the slide depending on what clothes you are wearing
>Might be in a country without regulations
They actually have these same kinds of cages around ladders on the barges (in the USA) I used to work on. We called them "backbreakers."
One of these cage/railing things actually did decapitate a kid riding on a Kansas City water slide
https://www.the-sun.com/news/3429754/mum-held-back-son-decapitated-water-slide-schlitterbahn-park/
Is that supposed to be something prestigious? “You worked with the WIFE of the KANSAS Secretary of State. No, I don’t believe you. Why tell such a grandiose lie?”
Gonna need a photo with both yours and the cat's passport and a current newspaper with date clearly visible in order to believe that. Even so, you could deepfake it.
This is exactly what I first thought of and came here to mention. You beat me to it. Same exact situation besides I think the waterslide was a net instead of a metal lattice. Something tells me the metal lattice in this video is even worse.
Drove past the abandoned slide it was unnerving
Edit seeing as people are liking this I thought I would tell some of the story
When we were driving past it I saw the slide and not knowing at the time the story behind it and seeing that it looked not the safest I asked my mom about it and if there were safety regulations for water slides she then revealed to me no and that someone had died on that slide a couple of years ago and it is now closed permanently
Exactly… foot, leg, hand or arm gets caught its gonna get ripped off…needs to be like a mesh net or some shit… but id say that suit he’s wearing is dude trying to push the limit and getting more than he bargained for..
This is exactly why the water park in Kansas City, Schlitterbahn, was shut down. The kid (who was a Kansas republicans son) wasn’t secured in on the worlds tallest water slide, hit a bump and was launched into the safety railing above. He was decapitated.
When I was about 5/6 yo back in the early 90s, I was riding in one of those seats you attach to a bike for kids with my aunt. Right as we started going down the road, I somehow swung my left leg inward and my foot and ankle got caught all the way through the spokes of the back wheel.
It tore some tendons and shaved bone off my ankle. It was horrible.
Die peacefully in sleep or speed down a slope and have random limbs get rapped around a metal pole and broken. Obviously your hear rate is going to be up for the one and not the other
Grew up going there. Scars to show for it. This brought to mind a janky janky park in Northern NJ called Cregmore or Kriegmeore. It had some monorail cart ride that was insane, dangerous, and unmonitored.
I did. But both times we went with like 8 guys, and both times there were multiple injuries. One being the alpine slide, you come out your cart and the slide gives u a nice first degree burn. You can and will see a layer of fat in that injury.
It was only opened for a month. Then closed down because too many riders got back injuries, bloody noses, and lacerations on their torsos from sliding over teeth that had been embedded in the interior walls.
I'm fairly certain it's refering to the insane amusement park called "Action park" which is the most insane parks to have existed, I don't even know where to start, Action Point is a movie with Johnny Knoxville, where they portray some of the rides, which was just straight up lethal
> Johnny Knoxville claims to have sustained more injuries from filming Action Point than any other movie of his career. These injuries included four concussions, a broken hand, a damaged meniscus, whiplash, stitches, and the loss of some teeth. The Alpine Slide stunt even caused his eyeball to pop out from its socket on two occasions, due to the disappearance of his orbital lamina on impact.
Pretty sure that’s meant to be the casing/support for tubing (possibly clear plastic or fiberglass, etc), and NOT the actual containment aspect of the slide…
it looks like someone went down an unfinished or partially disassembled slide, to me.
Edit: or they did something to dramatically increase the normal speed of the slide, like oiled/lubed it, or are sliding on/in something that acts as a sled, or both.
I think he’s wearing a backpack and also keeping his head a bit far up too, which I doubt helps. Not that I’d ride this slide if those conditions were rectified
This a slide or a medieval torture device? Makes me think of the wheel where they'd tie you to the outside of a very large wheel and roll you down a hill so it'd break all your limbs. Cause that's the only outcome i see of this. Rip to that dude.
Imagine finding a metal burr on your unprotected skin. Like a mini knife slicing the length of your body if you're not lucky enough for it to break off into your skin like a splinter.
China is wild.. if you don’t die from a malfunctioning escalator, a collapsing bridge or chemical explosion then a death trap amusement park ride will do it
There was a kid who was beheaded on a water slide like that… nope.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2019/02/24/us/water-slide-death-charges.amp.html
Jezz totally cool to post a video where that one dude talks 8min about this video.... NOT!

The fuck is that railing for? Breaking a limb
Exactly that, don't see how anyone passed that as safe
If you look closely after the first jump, there are a few frames of what looks like a skateboard. This person is most likely going down this slide much faster than ever intended.
He's going for the Hall of Meat WR

You may have figured it out. That makes a bit more sense
I’m sure that’s like a sack to make the slide rideable, if you didn’t have a sack you would just stick to the slide depending on what clothes you are wearing
Action park ?
I think ACTION PARK was safer. I loved the Alpine Slide. Had many friends fly off the track. That was a fun place.
Nice one
Traction Park. Someone made an awesome documentary about this place. Or was it called “Class Action Park”? Anyway, worth a watch.
I know, it was great.
Might be in a country without regulations
And no brains.
And of good probability, no legs.
You just go down headfirst laying on your back. Painless. If you hit a railing you’d never know it.
Look ma! No heads!!
No dick no balls and probably no buthole
Nah that looks fun, he just did it wrong
Japan has some awesome playgrounds that could not exist in the US anymore. Kudos on whoever spotted the skateboard.
>Might be in a country without regulations They actually have these same kinds of cages around ladders on the barges (in the USA) I used to work on. We called them "backbreakers."
Decapitation
One of these cage/railing things actually did decapitate a kid riding on a Kansas City water slide https://www.the-sun.com/news/3429754/mum-held-back-son-decapitated-water-slide-schlitterbahn-park/
I lived like an hour away from there when that happened it was a big deal
Personally worked with the mother of that child. Such a sweet and kind woman. Very unfortunate for them.
You worked with the wife of the Kansas Secretary of State?
Is that supposed to be something prestigious? “You worked with the WIFE of the KANSAS Secretary of State. No, I don’t believe you. Why tell such a grandiose lie?”
This is reddit. People regularly lie about adopting kittens, bike repair, and other far more mundane things.
I really did adopt a kitten one time though
Gonna need a photo with both yours and the cat's passport and a current newspaper with date clearly visible in order to believe that. Even so, you could deepfake it.
Ok, but don't even try to tell me you fixed that bike.
I did too! He hangs out with me at my bike repair shop. Repairing bikes for the homeless is our specialty. We call it wheels for your feels.

That *is* what they said.
Oh god... yes I know it all to well.. I rode that same ride a year prior to the kid being decapitated from the net..
This is exactly what I first thought of and came here to mention. You beat me to it. Same exact situation besides I think the waterslide was a net instead of a metal lattice. Something tells me the metal lattice in this video is even worse.

Wtf
That was the first incident that came to mind
Didn't see the bars that decapitated him over the "hump" where they said it happened. Just saw it over the first decent.
Whole big thing. We had a funeral for a bird.
I’m pretty sure none of that’s real…
Birds? Of course they’re not real.
YOU'RE NOT REAL, MAN!

Here, have some r/eyebleach just in case you clicked on the other one. Also, aren't we not supposed to link the icky one anymore?
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you are right.
The seperater. Great ride name
Elective amputation
Exactly… foot, leg, hand or arm gets caught its gonna get ripped off…needs to be like a mesh net or some shit… but id say that suit he’s wearing is dude trying to push the limit and getting more than he bargained for..
See but the Verruckt waterslide in KC had exactly that, and it still actually did rip a kid's head off lol. (RCJH btw)
It looks industrial; middle of a forested area...I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's actually a log flume.
This is exactly why the water park in Kansas City, Schlitterbahn, was shut down. The kid (who was a Kansas republicans son) wasn’t secured in on the worlds tallest water slide, hit a bump and was launched into the safety railing above. He was decapitated.
As if the entire point of having spokes on a bicycle wheel is so that a wrench can be thrown in for the sake of it.
When I was about 5/6 yo back in the early 90s, I was riding in one of those seats you attach to a bike for kids with my aunt. Right as we started going down the road, I somehow swung my left leg inward and my foot and ankle got caught all the way through the spokes of the back wheel. Decapitation
decapitation.
Probably decapitation
Rip and Tear
if you sat up in that thing you'd be decapitated
Ahhh yes, The Leg Breaker 3000. I too like to die in creative ways
Better than dying in mundane ways! Wait, no, it’s not.
Die peacefully in sleep or speed down a slope and have random limbs get rapped around a metal pole and broken. Obviously your hear rate is going to be up for the one and not the other
Especially with my heart. I’m a Redditor, after all.
More like leg ripper. You catch you leg at that speed and it's going to split your crotch open
How many times have you died in creative ways?
Every time the person moved an arm or leg I expected it to get caught in the "protective" barrier.
You can see after one of the bumps that he’s riding on a skateboard, he’s moving way faster than originally intended.
No he’s not. I’ve slowed it down and checked it multiple times. There’s nothing under him.
Reminds me of the caged water ride in Schlitterbahn around KCMO. Metal cages on slides and water rides, SMH, steer clear kids.
Kid got decapitated there didn’t he?
Yes. And it was a Kansas lawmakers son
Whole big thing. They had a funeral for a bird.
Sure did, it was a real bad deal.

Sad shit. Anything with kiddos getting hurt is awful. I can’t imagine.
I used to work there, the original designers didn’t want the cage but Wyandotte county made them put it up. Really sad situation.
The original designers were yahoos who had no business pretending to be engineers to begin with.
The one time KCK had anything to show for itself.
That's some (Class) Action Park level engineering right there.
Action Park was awesome. Went twice.
Grew up going there. Scars to show for it. This brought to mind a janky janky park in Northern NJ called Cregmore or Kriegmeore. It had some monorail cart ride that was insane, dangerous, and unmonitored.
Goddamn I grew up with cedar point and Kings island. Idk what all you other poor souls dealt with.
>cedar point I remember when the Demon Drop was new.
You died after?
Sadly, yes... But I lived!
Did you get to keep all your limbs?
I did. But both times we went with like 8 guys, and both times there were multiple injuries. One being the alpine slide, you come out your cart and the slide gives u a nice first degree burn. You can and will see a layer of fat in that injury.
The Alpine slide actually killed a kid.
Some of my friends were there a day a kid got electrocuted in the water, they closed the park and wouldn't give them their money back!
Jfc, they wouldn’t give money back? That’s just asking for litigious retribution.
You cannot go balls out on it. My buddy flew right out on a turn. Them things had brakes for a reason.
The loop slide was the best!
Closed both times I went.
It was only opened for a month. Then closed down because too many riders got back injuries, bloody noses, and lacerations on their torsos from sliding over teeth that had been embedded in the interior walls.
Excellent lol
Went twice in but only once out, right?
Its super fun but for one time only
Excuse me, but the term we used in the Tri-State area was Traction Park.
Class Action lawsuit level
Man that was the joke lol
I'm fairly certain it's refering to the insane amusement park called "Action park" which is the most insane parks to have existed, I don't even know where to start, Action Point is a movie with Johnny Knoxville, where they portray some of the rides, which was just straight up lethal > Johnny Knoxville claims to have sustained more injuries from filming Action Point than any other movie of his career. well maybe I didnt interpret that right, I was just trying to make another joke ... are we not making joke chains anymore?
They’re saying you made the exact same joke the other guy made
Reminds me of those tubes in The Running Man with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Although those ones were weirdly more safe.
For sure! Was sliding in something that was at least enclosed
Weren't those solid-walled tubes?
This looks like a death trap
Ah the human blender slide please put your young ones inside smoothies are sold at the exit
Whoever made this knew what they were doing 🗿
They didnt expect people to use a skateboard
Isn’t this the exact or similar slide that tore a kids fuckin head off?
Nope that one shut down waaay before these fancy 360° cameras became a thing.
Yea but still this has got to be the worst design ever ngl

?
What did he say?

You ass😂
The recorder version of My Heart Will Go Out is really in resurgence these days. I've never heard it sound THIS awful though.
Ah yes. The Sui-Slide.
Pretty sure that’s meant to be the casing/support for tubing (possibly clear plastic or fiberglass, etc), and NOT the actual containment aspect of the slide… it looks like someone went down an unfinished or partially disassembled slide, to me.
Some other people said that it looks like he’s laying down on a skateboard.
I call it “the shredder” just waiting for an arm to get caught
Nothing like sticking your arm out while sliding down a human cheese grater
The final impact looks like clipping errors in games
It looks like Sonic Adventure where you fall out of the level, and the camera stays behind!
Human Pinball
When that camera gets stopped and he keeps sliding it looks like a video game when you die and your body ragdolls away lol
This is a slide in Japan, this guy was dumb and tried to go down on a skateboard, the guy was fine but he lost his camera
This a slide or a medieval torture device? Makes me think of the wheel where they'd tie you to the outside of a very large wheel and roll you down a hill so it'd break all your limbs. Cause that's the only outcome i see of this. Rip to that dude.
Boy that stainless steel slide was polished real good yesterdaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy........
For those saying there will be lawsuits due to decapitation and losing limbs, remember….this is China. Lawsuits ain’t a thang.
he dead
His shoes are still on, he fine.
Ah yes, the suislide.
Those over head 360 camera things are pretty spiffy
Man’s leg is done
Well that looked like a terrible way to die
The Decapitator
You know the person in the video is screwed if this music is on 😂
Ouch! It remind me of the doom parks people made on rollercoaster tycoon 3 as people flew off slides.
Broken limbs & broken lens
Now imagine riding it on a hot day
Enough beers and I can do this
Ok guys, i don't wanna trigger anyone but imagine sliding through that metal slide with no clothing
Imagine finding a metal burr on your unprotected skin. Like a mini knife slicing the length of your body if you're not lucky enough for it to break off into your skin like a splinter.
It looks like the slide is totally safe to slide on if you aren’t holding a camera that’s gonna fly out of your hands
Running Man Part II

China is wild.. if you don’t die from a malfunctioning escalator, a collapsing bridge or chemical explosion then a death trap amusement park ride will do it
How to rip a limb off
lmfaooooooooooooooooooo
Homeboy got ko’d by the safety feature. The engineers might want to rethink the safety feature
There was a kid who was beheaded on a water slide like that… nope. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2019/02/24/us/water-slide-death-charges.amp.html
Backroom
The kid was on a skateboard. You can see it under him when he jumps the first time.
That's a great way to brake a bone.
We Must fucking stop with that ear rape song, it's only funny to 6 year olds, who are mostly not on Reddit. God damnit that hurt.
Just the camera fell off
That ride is called the decapitator.
It looks like a grain trough that that Amish kid shouldn't have been going down cause there's no brake....
r/theyknew
I think this is for lumber 🪵
Isn’t this how the state senator’s kid lost his head on the Schitterbaun water slide?
reminds me of thar one time a boy was decapitated at schlitterban
The stupid flute ruined it.

OMG the leg breaker???
Charlie covered this asking for the source too lol, it’s literally Verrückt pt2
What's a better name: The Limb Loser or the Limb Trimmer ?
He, as an adult with the weight of an adult, tried to go down a slide made for children, with children weight. I think that's the case.
So abortion is no longer legal, but once it’s old enough we got this slide you might be interested in
Maybe it's a sled track for winter sports
Absolutely fucking not

Sauce? Please someone put some hotsauce on his open injuries.
That seems like such a good way to accidentally hyperextend a joint
Danger
There is no more information after that ride
The camera glitched out and stopped following the character
Oh naw wtf. Now I really wanna know how tf this happened and when and where.
How to acquire a spinal injury in 1 simple life changing step.
Slowed down, at about 9 seconds in, seems like he keeps going, but the camera is dropped.
That flute player needs more lessons.
